  1. I always said that Quazi was genius, he has even managed to overclock the clock!
  2. Ok thanks for the advice.
  3. I will have a word with Sister Stephanie for you
  4. I have just been re-reading this thread. I was aware that Jim started a while ago and often speaks of it on line. The post which has drawn my attention is bbloke's about stopping zonealarm and avg. Question for BBloke: Is this safe for you only becaue of the way your hardware is configured? Allways mindful of trying to squeeze the last bit of performance out of my machine, I have asked about shuting anti virus down when playing within the dangerdogz before and was advised to leave them up. I am on broadband from BT using a standard usb BT modem. Any thoughts or guidance welcome.
  5. i have playing with convergences also. except i have been bringing mine right in 150 or 200 for both. i did try the yum yum settings you sent me/posted (1000) but then i twigged that he flies VERY fast, so closing at far greater speed than i m able to achive. so getting back to all firing at one, hopefully if i can get to within convergence range, when i open up, "he should go bang!"
  6. if you have weapon 1 and 2 to fire together, will the machine gun still work when the cannon is empty? if so it is something i might do as well....
  7. thanks m8, if you read the version on the web page, there are pictures.!
  8. How I joined the Priory of St Oleg As many of you will know, I serve this fine community of ours on behalf of the Priory Of St Oleg. A small organization, based at a mountain retreat in Lichtenstein. The Priory’s aims and views are quite modern. We are taught that women who have fallen from the straight and narrow should be looked after and their undoubted skills put to good use. They are “inductedâ€
  9. no, i still can not see the new post button
  10. seems that i am not seeing "new post" button for website section, is this now closed?
  11. many thanks for all the pointers guys. i will try and see if i can link the laptop to my desktop pc which is on a corporate network. failing that, i think will try and go for win 98 drivers. i will post back ina few days to say how i got on.
  12. I am trying to help a friend who bought a recon laptop off ebay. After not having it very long the thing will not boot. he haas shown it to another contact who thinks that the bios is corrupted. How do i go about correcting the bios to make it boot correctly. Any advise / pointers very welcome.
  13. I am cleaning up an old win 98 laptop that used to belong to my Chairman. His son has some pictures on it that I need to get off before "cleaning it" so that i can bring it home for one of my daughters to use. My problem is that an extrenal cd writer I have can not be recognised and a memory stick wont work either. Does any one have any ideas as to the way forward
  14. Hi, i have never used photshop and was wondering if it would be any use for a situation I have at work. the company I work for own lots of pubs. We are responsible for doing up the outside of the buildings. This involves re-painting. There is no corporate branding/colour scheme, each pub is done up on its own. The problem is the guys in charge of painting a pub sometimes are not sure what colour to use. Painting a pub the wrong colour could be expensive and bad for trade!. My question is would photshop be able to colour in brickwork etc so that they could get an impression of what the building would look like? I have tried it in Paint, but its was very labouious as working on a phot there is no defind area. Any advice / recommenations very welcome!
  15. For an illustration of the subject in question, click on the following link and scroll down to Arsenal's post and check out the nice furry creature! http://www.dangerdogz.com/forums/viewto ... light=miss
  16. lets also get the technical settings defind and agreed as well to maximise performance no custom skins, connection set to 56k ?
  17. its english rhyming slang..."butchers hook" - "look", frog and toad - road, skin and blister - sister, frior - crap pilot etc.......
  18. I'm In...i think....... will confirm tonight when i get home. Glenn, would you like me to administer the sides thread like i did for the hell divers? P.S agree wuth dave about start time. that would ideal for me too.
  19. sorry, i thought that in my dabblings in the past with aaa i have placed it up a mountain (doing a 633 squadron type valley run)? and that would then be ok for a carrier.
  20. had another idea last night.....if the ship aaa is too fierce, how about disabling it and placing a normal aaa unit on a deck somewhere, would that work?
  21. what would the missions be like without any aaa? defence would be dependant on air to air, is that a too stupid idea, have i been sampling the priory special reserve port a little too often? the times i take part in a mission, fly 3 or 4 mins to get there and bang! i find out just how under modeled the planes are with only 1 wing.
  22. I echo all that has been said Glenn. another great night, strangely plagued by tech problems all round!. Enforcer that may have been me (will have to examine the track to find out) as, amazingly, I did manage to take two down in quick succession over midway. I hope that readers do not think that I am boasting, and appologise unreservedly if someone else knows for a fact it was them, but getting two like (i think) that for me is quite a novelty! well done blue Well done to my fellow heroic and valient pilots.
  23. I would like to invite BBLOKE to fly for honerable Japanese Navy (Replacement for Jim)
