  1. had another idea last night.....if the ship aaa is too fierce, how about disabling it and placing a normal aaa unit on a deck somewhere, would that work?
  2. what would the missions be like without any aaa? defence would be dependant on air to air, is that a too stupid idea, have i been sampling the priory special reserve port a little too often? the times i take part in a mission, fly 3 or 4 mins to get there and bang! i find out just how under modeled the planes are with only 1 wing.
  3. I echo all that has been said Glenn. another great night, strangely plagued by tech problems all round!. Enforcer that may have been me (will have to examine the track to find out) as, amazingly, I did manage to take two down in quick succession over midway. I hope that readers do not think that I am boasting, and appologise unreservedly if someone else knows for a fact it was them, but getting two like (i think) that for me is quite a novelty! well done blue Well done to my fellow heroic and valient pilots.
  4. I would like to invite BBLOKE to fly for honerable Japanese Navy (Replacement for Jim)
  5. thank you Dave, I was going to post that saying look at the link!
  6. Roger, When i went into the download section i dont see any of the pictures just the box with the red x, is this me? i have tried right click and "show picture" but nothing happens
  7. a couple of years ago i started building my own water rockets, which i believe are very popular in the schools in the u.s. and has a large internet community on the net. i was never able to build a succesful release mechanism that was water and air tight. some of the real experts can get them real high.
  8. "ubizoo" is the nick name for the ubi game forums

In my ignorance I thought that 800 x 600 would be worse than someone on a higher res. I have never pushed my res in an effort to get the best frame rates. Is this a correct assumption? I should post my graphic card detail at this point but i cant remember which exact card i have, i think it is a nvidia gforce fx5200? with 128mb

i am curious about the icon settings. i think that it might be fun trying it out one night on our own. it might make it easier to "sneak" up on someone. also perhaps make it a bit easier for those of us who seem to be bullit magnets to "hide" a little. Normal range for own side though to simulate radio comms of location. I do realise that this also may, for those of us with lower end graphic settings (i play at 800 x 600 32 bit) that some of the dots may be difficult to pick out. I would be interested in trying it as i said.
  12. i have no problem with the scotish flag, you are more than welcome to have it. I would like also to have the cross of st george for england. it is a simple request, as i am a man of simple tastes, we in the Priory believe that living with the simple things in life opens ones eyes to those in the world that have less, what is that, oh ......sorry must go, the champagne has just been un corked, the strawberries have been removed from the fridge and the girls have said my bath is ready.
  13. One would hope that we are just missing a little "with" in this post. I will not have any fighting in my Parish, unless its between sister mary and sister helen, with a lot of mud and water involved !
  14. point of order mr chairman on the web site banner. excellent as it is..... the flags, you have the blue cross of st andrew for scotland but the union flag for england? It is the flag of Great Britian. So if the scots are having theirs please my I have the cross of st george?
  15. Many thanks for your kind words about my jottings. @enforcer - I see you have meet Sister Wendy, one of our success stories indeed. She left the Priory and started her own Company. If I remember correctly she said that she was now a "Businessman's Leisure Time Activity Consultant". She seems to be doing rather well. @jensenpark - I am working on the next one at the moment. I dont want to publish to often. There can only be so much good will extended towards me from the community before the well starts to drain dry!
  16. Parish Newsletter September 2006 Well hello again, I thought that as there have been some new people move into this little community of ours recently, that I would put my jottings on show once again. For those that don’t know, I came to this community as a representative of the Priory of St Oleg, a non-denominational retreat based high up a mountain in Lichtenstein. The Priory’s aims and views are quite modern. We believe that women who have fallen from the straight and narrow should be looked after and their undoubted skills put to good use. They are abducted (Ed’s Note change to “inductedâ€
  17. My stick - Saitek evo pro track ir 4 on a baseball cap no peddles settings all 100's. dont notice any "twitcheness", thought i would before i changed but i dont.
  18. I have to concur that it is do-able from the default spawn point on the carrier. After much practice I can now get off more times than not. Landing...thats another issue. I hav'nt checked what glen said but i have found that i it works when i hold her on the brakes and remove chocks before starting up. If glen said that in his advice, then sorry Glen
  19. Sign up now for the Honerable Japenese Navy and have these all to yourself..... Sign up for the others and get..
  20. Excellent work Glen. You are a credit to our group. With the possibility of a large number of players, should we declare here a standard for graphic settings, connection speed etc to get the best connection performance for everyone? I will leave it to those that are far more technical than I to set the standard.
  21. Having failed on a bombing run on the Dunkirk coast, I try and make a run for it, only to be chased by a few angy hurri's. I put the plane into level autopilot and then jump from gun position to gun position in a desperate attempt to fend my attackers off. This is what they did to me......
  22. You're all dooomed.......repent now...before its too late...
