Great photos, thanks. I'd like to look at the 8th AAF list, I had an uncle who was an Engineer/Top Gunner on a B-17. He went down over France when two planes collided. I did some research and came across a gentleman from Upper Norwood (London area I think) he gave me loads of info on the plane. He also had a Chronicle from a crew member on the other plane that describes the collision. A fact that astounds me is, on the mission to bomb Chemnitz, Germany there were 1,383 bombers and 904 fighters on the mission.(06Feb44) They were stationed at Eye, England, near Diss, which is close to Norwich. If anyone would like to read the chronicle, let me know and I'll figure out, with help, how to get a copy posted or sent. Rambling, Pooka

I found Bushpigs on the "missions4today" site, completed the first two missions and then found your post about "Castways", cancelled Bushpigs and jumped to the later. I was on the third mission, no loses, my grandson stopped by, distracted me and a crash into the sea. Damn Plan to start again, I realize there will be deaths but I want them to be because I screwed up, not an error of looking at something he thought was important. I really do enjoy these, should be practicing the Corsair, maybe both. Thanks for your time and effort to keep me occupied. DD_Pooka

I'm spending a lot of time with skins and campaigns, and I'm concerned that I should loose this all/time spent. So I need to back-up, something very easy to understand. My HD now is a WD 74GB 10K and has 79% left. Local computer dealer suggested a WD My Book and I found one at ZipZoomFly, WD 250GB 7200rpm for $123.00US. Does this sound like a good idea or would you suggest another approach, that being secure and extremely easy to understand and implement. Thanks for any suggestions; Pooka

He did, but the response said all was correct, but I've since replayed the missions and again on the 6th mission there are no bombs. I've loaded different skins and again No Bombs. I've since gone beyond that point and on later missions do have bombs and have hit the bridge. I think he has a clitch on that part. Otherwise a great program and still enjoy the second time thru. Chin up M8, we WON the first match and everybody knows it... We had time to organize, maybe on future matches we can have a few more minutes between the scenerios. Then your brilliant tactical mind will have time to prepare our attacks & defenses. Thats all we need..time and tactics. Pooka

I had a great time, many thanks...at one point I got so discusted, tried taking off five times with a JU-88, twice I was vulched (OK), crashed in a hurry trying to get up 3 times. There were so many smoking wrecks on the runway I started taking off in a different direction. (Game 3) It was a lot of fun and look forward to this again.. Pooka

Thanks m8s, outstanding student award :roll: , then I fly here a few hours later and blown out of the sky in a few short minutes. Puts it all back in perspective. They do have very knowledgable instructors (Fifties), good pilots to practice with in class. I really enjoyed it all, but nice to settle back with the Dogz again. DD_Pooka

I may have been playing to long, Ive caught myself several times....When you reach for the remote while watching TV, to move that Hat switch to see whats left or right of the person on TV. Pooka

Yesterday was a lot of fun, a couple times it warped, but not drastically. I think closing our membership again will help. Using both Red & Blue Freqs, this also aides in attacks, in that you can set up plans and the other side isn't able to block your tactics. Only one other time (not counting the DDay Extravaganza) do I recall a gathering at one time of over 15 players. My nickels worth (you can't buy anything for a penny anymore) is lets see if this happens again, make plans fine, but see if it occurs another time. Sqed, your hosting is right up there with BG, Glenn and Kelly. Nothing new here, my opinion and I get to see the Red Pooka Dog. See you tomorrow or Thursday. The way I was taught, to detirmine your stronger eye, hold a pencil up in front, like aimming with both eyes open. Close one eye than the other, your stronger eye will stay the same as both eyes open. Your weaker will move off target as viewed with both eyes open. Pooka
