  2. Thanks Chris, will put it in too. I was looking at AVG today and saw where I did get that Virus that one of the new guys sent thru MSN (not his fault) from Joint-Ops, don't recall who. It claims it deleted it. Pooka

  6. Thanks for responding... but, I tried to DL and it wants to update java or Flash ?something. I tried to DL each of these and the computer sends a message to Microsoft and then says to shut down. Is there any other place I can DL these, I don't understand what you said, I could get from FTP, but it would take some time.

  9. These are what I'm missing, they used to appear in-game, but I must have made a change somewhere. Where are these controlled, config files??
  10. Can anyone tell me what line controls where it makes typed statements in game, such as, "Bbloke blows off delta7 wing"?
  11. ~S~ Painless,, I still din't get it, if you say Butchers Hook = Look, why couldn't it be Book or Took or Rook, those all rhyme too. How do you know what rhyming word it could be. "Sherman Tank"= Wank could it also be Bank or Thank?? And another thing their bloke, what is a WANK Now I remember from my teenage days (the 60s) the brits called a cigarette a fag, was this on the same line that it rhymed with something? Glad we pitched the tea in the harbour and don't have to speak the Queens english. Pooka

  13. I missed the last DDay event, and will also miss this one angry9: A birthday party in Minnesota for a grand-daughter. Having never been on the winning side, I would have selected RED. :crybaby: Have a good time (really I hope Glenn has computer problems and its set back a week. Pooka
  14. Hopefully you can point me to a program that can open and play this. I've recvd these in the past and it DLs but when I go to open it says, "Windows can not open this file". Any suggestions on a program for myself. Thanks a lot. DD_Pooka

  16. A great time and look forward to your next fine mission. One point I forgot to bring up last night that I just remembered. Three times I had problems while trying to take off from a carrier. My B5N2 would appear, I'd set up and just before I started to take off or try and turn to get to the back of the carrier, a plane popped up in front of me. Had to wait for him, to start, one guy had so much lag, I asked him to drive it off the side. I heard him say something about the crash, I watched him for another 5 seconds, then his plane started and he went over the side. I'm a complete know nothing on what you all do to set these up (Thank You), I guess if there is a way to reserve a carrier for only large bombers, have fighters/destroyers take off somewhere else. Two cents of babbler from me, all in all it was fantastic. No lags here. Look forward to next theatre, maybe I'll get lucky and pick the winning side, haven't yet. DD_Pooka

  19. BG, What are Crazy Ivans settings???
  20. Mine are set at: MG:150 & Can:350 & Roc:700....why? I figure MG are only going to really be effective up close, Cannons because most others I've seen set them near this distance. Rockets Thats what I have now, probably change them after reading what others use. DD_Pooka Jeepers, just noticed I was promoted to Lt. Col., drinks on me at the " O " Club.
  21. Not sure if I mentioned this before, the Navy Corpsman, John Bradley who helped raise the flag and whos son wrote the book is from my small town (8,000) Antigo, Wisc. I enlisted with his oldest son, Steve in the Marines in '67. The author of the book, James comes back to town every so often to visit, if anyone would like an autographed copy of the book, let me know. I'll buy it and you can pay me when recieved. John gave me a couple autographed pictures before he passed away, I never asked for them but they sure mean a lot to me now. DD_Pooka The locals were hoping they film part of the movie where he comes back to Antigo, but they shot that part in small small town near Chicago, we all missed our chance to see Clint in person.
