  1. As soon as the snow is gone, he takes off the tracks and puts the wheels back on.
  2. New Egg is sometimes a bit short with their specs so I googled another site which shows a bit more info http://dealspl.us/SAMSUNG-226BW-Black-2 ... 00-1_31813 I am no expert on this stuff but you will note the response time of 2 nms. That is very quick: the lower the better. And here is a link on the Sceptre Monitor http://www.pricegrabber.ca/search_techs ... 29870007// You can see the response time is 5 nms which is still very quick but the Samsung is quicker. Of the two, I would pick the Samsung. I also have an 19" Samsung Monitor which I bought four years ago when the price was $1,200. How things have changed! It is still an excellent monitor. bg
  3. I try to keep you guys amused with pictures from backwoods. Over the next few days, I will update this thread with new pictures of how to make Maple Syrup. The pictures you are about to see were taken a few days ago when the sap was running. You need freezing nights followed by warm sunny days for the sap to run. The other guy in the picture is my neighbour Bruce, a retired teacher who taught woodworking and helps me with projects from time to time. So far he has collected 60 gallons of sap and will start boiling in the next few days. I will endeavour to get photos of that process and post them here. I will also submit a profit & loss statement for the first year of maple syrup production for your edification and enlightenment. Keep in mind that it takes 40 gallons of sap to make 1 gallon of syrup and once you start boiling you have finish the process. I know Bruce has ruined several batches when he has drunk too much and fallen asleep. What a sticky gooey mess. bg and Bruce take a short breather Let the tapping begin 55 taps later This is where he boils the sap. He has a large stainless steel pan which gets placed on the fire pit.
  4. Jensenpark. I think she maybe had 80 plus hours into it. Kling. We used a water based polyurethane made by Benjamin Moore. Very tough finish and it also looks nice. We used it on all the house trim and doors. $40 a gallon.i
  5. Helen just finished her latest project. It is a stained glass door from the castle hallway to the dining/great room. As with all our house doors, the wood (white pine 2" thick) is from our property; sawn and kiln dried by me. Helen did the stained glass and then I took it to a commercial place who encased in double glazing. From there everything went to the local Amish guy who built the door and installed the glass. Out of pocket was $250 for the glass, $100 for the double glazing and $150 to the Amish dude. Including labour for Helen and I,
  6. Deep down I think you are a commie Jensenpark................. and a lesbian.
  7. Definitely an LCD and if you can afford a 22" that's what I would get. Here is a link to some 22" http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductLi ... rs&Ntk=all For maybe $100 less you can get a 19" http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductLi ... ategory=20 I would pay $100 for 3 inches more
  8. Your wives/partners should enjoy this one.
  9. That's my read of it too Fireman. That's why I suggested they get the DVD for 1946. Sheez .
  10. Thank you for the welcome pilots of the K9 Squadrons !! Hi Klinger, as for me mentioning COD 1, ya it's actually been replaced by the COD expansion pack, United Offensive and COD2. A few months ago we added Capture the Flag, Base Assualt and soon to be Conquest maps to our rotation of Sniper maps. If you feel like being a ground hugger you are all welcome to come to our forums and say Hi and see what were all about and grab our IP's and join us for a round or ten. Since you moved on to exclusivly IL2 1946 with the 4.08 I guess I'll have to see if I can round up members from either our Death Bringers or Black Flag Squadrons to purchase the game (Is it an Expansion pack?) and install 4.08 so we can hook up with you guys in the future. Myself and the rest of my guys being some what green to playing online with other squadrons in the Sturmovik games, can some one please list out exactly what we need to do to join you guys and I'll fight the good fight back home to stir up intrest. The only games I own of the series is IL2 Sturmovik "Forgotten Battles" (which I never played online as of yet) and of course my stand alone Pacific Fighters. After rooming thru your Website & Forums a few times I can't seem to find your Server IP Addy or any mention for that matter of where you guys fly. Do you have an open server like us thats 24/7? Or do you fly in a Ubi Soft Lobby or Hyper Lobby only at certian times? I take it that to fly with you guys its by invite or members only? Which is most likely why I don't see any instructions on how to jump into your game. Do any of you know of any squadrons that fly our current game and patches that we can hook up with in the mean time while I try to get pilots to fly with the K9's? If not is there a internet Squadron ring I can search through myself? Sorry for all the questions boys, but I'm learning !!
  11. ~S~ Tim, Thanks for taking the time to drop by our humble kennel and introduce yourself and your squad to the k9's. As Delta 7 has indicated, we have now moved exclusively to 4.08 Nonetheless I am sure some of our guys will visit your website and we will keep your group in mind for the future.
  12. Ah the joy of playing rugby on a British pitch. Mud, mud glorious mud. Good looking lad Dazz and a mountain to boot.
  13. These were the ones that also tickled my fancy. Also liked Sing along at the opera or the ATM " I won, I won".
  14. And I just bought a church where I can worship myself in.
  15. I'll contact Deacon and see if we can move the time to 5pm EST just for you Delta 7.
  16. I thought that is what I said Rog.
  17. If I understand correctly, the US and Canada will switch to Daylight Savings Time this Sunday March 11th. European Union countries on the other hand, will not switch until March 25th. So if we are flying the 352nd match (2 missions left) we will be starting 4pm EST, 8pm GMT DST. Can someone check me out here. I have a nasty habit of getting stuff like this muxed ip.
  18. For all you Glenn Miller fans, you can now get the Inflight Music Randomizer
  19. I don't remember them being that effective when we fired them. Another case of Oleg undermodelling as he did with all the Spitfires in the game. Did you notice the Stuka pilots in the video didn't shoot any better than we did? Next time we will go unlimited and kill some kittens.
  20. The Man from Donzi! Thanks for posting Mobius. Looks like heaven to me.
