Get Quazi to buy it if you decide to go ahead Chuck. He can claim the rebate which you likely can't and he will send it to you with a nominal value on it to avoid customs duty.

I have just looked at the price of the X1950 Pro AGP and you can get it from New Egg for $180 after rebate. I will be really disappointed if you don't go for that one Carl. Absolutely best card re value/ price/performance. But then my good friend Okie has already pointed that out and provided the same link to New Egg.

I have a good registry cleaner Shadow that I have confidence in. There are a ton of entries left over in the Registry for Firefox but the problem I have is, which ones to delete.

Thanks Rog. I now have it unistalled. I may look a bit further and see if I can find something that deletes the Registry entries before I reinstall Firefox. I use AVG for Anti Virus but decided to try Active Scan by Panada. It found 5 viruses and disinfected them!!! It was only a few months ago that I did a reformat.

Have had to switch back to IE. Firefox just keeps on freezing.

After I let Bbloke in to my computer yesterday via VNC Ultra, all my bookmarks for Firefox have vanished. I think he may have kidnapped them! The favourites are still sitting in Documents and Settings but I can't get them to show up in Firefox. I have tried importing them but the import program seems to be looking for an exe file. Geek assistance urgently required please and I want my bookmarks back please Bbloke. You never know where they have been.

That's strange Fireman! Everything I have read says LCD's are much better for the eyes because the refresh rates are so low: usually 60 MHZ.

I never had a CRT Chris but I will swear by an LCD. The ones they make today are also a way much better than the ones from 3 or 4 years ago. I have yet to see a bad pixel on the two LCD's I own. I paid $1,200 for an 19" Sony and it is no better than the 19" Samsung $400 jobby. Colour, sharpness are great on both. Only problem I have is night missions but that could be because of cataracts and my inability to properly adjust gamma and brightness in ATI CCC.

I am with Shadow on this one. You could try deleting the batch switch files first as you don't need them anymore. None of us fly 4.04m 4.05m, or 4.07m anymore. It that still does not work then clean install is best. Make sure you save your conf.ini, user files, skins and/or missions.
