If it was me Andrew I would reformat all of c drive and not just one of the partitions. That way you know you will be starting clean. I used to partition my c drive but found it more trouble than it was worth trying to keep the partitions straight.

I think you are already bare bones m8. Can't see anywhere you could whittle unless you went on Ebay and picked up some of the components used.

There should be a small line or a box that asks if you want to install active X.

If it finds small stuff, it will not remove it but will ask you to buy a subscription. But if it finds trojans or a virus it will remove them or at least tell you what it is and how to remove it.

You have to load heir software first. Fear not, it is good. Panda found a trojan for me that disabled Norton.
