  1. The kids are looking great Angus. Very nice picture of you and your family. I bet that one will be sitting on your oak rolltop desk.
  2. Get's easier the more times you do it.
  3. Best thing to do is make a copy of your game Trout. Just copy and paste to desktop. Then install the mod pack to C: Il2_1946. Just make sure you select the proper path.
  4. Trout is all squared away and ready to go. He wants to fly in our SEOW.
  5. Welcome Trout. Nice to see you post here. The Dogz are a real friendly bunch albeit, dysfunctional. They should be along shortly to welcome you. Watch out for the guy in the pink dress!
  6. Try clicking on the Vimeo image on the right and see the difference in High Definition.
  7. I just downloaded and installed iL2-Stab from m4T. http://www.mission4today.com/index.php?name=Downloads&get=2169 Apart from giving you the option of placing a swastika on your aircraft, it also has an option for changing icons and dot ranges to anything you wish. Not for everybody but it does have utility for some.
  8. A 3850 would give you a good boost Mike.
  9. He is standing on ice Kling and you are right, it is quite precarious. If he gets enough snow off the roof and he slips he will land in the deep snow and be ok.
  10. ~S~ Blade and welcome to our Forum. I personally don't have an issue with you flying in our SEOW as a guest and appreciate you being up front with us. However, it would be up to the SEOW commander to decide if and where you could fly and I think any Danger Dogz would hold a seating preference over you. Hopefully you will decide to join the group when you get to know how we fly and how we interact with each other. By the same token, while we are on probation so to speak, you will be too. You are correct in your assessment of the La5FN performance and I think that is all that should be said right now. I encourage any of the other Dogz to chime in and have their say.
  11. Of course you know that guy is from New Jersey.
  12. Winter came early this year and we have already had lots of snow. I get a bit concerned when it starts to get heavy on the roof so we have a off duty fireman come in and get most of it off. Poor bugger was up there for 4 hours in minus 12 degree F. I watched him for a couple of minutes!
  13. Thanks for the good wishes guys. Had a very quiet day moving snow. Nobody asked me what I got so I will post a link for you. This is actually a joint birthday and Christmas present to Helen and myself. I have a big rear tined Honda teller but this one is for weeding and getting in between rows. http://www.hondapowerequipment.com/products/modeldetail.aspx?page=modeldetail&section=P2TL&modelname=FG110AT&modelid=FG110AT
  14. I hope you are taking the day off Peter. Many happy returns m8.
  15. I have always been fascinated with this kind of hobby. Some of the stuff you have found looks quite valuable. That diamond ring for example and some of the old silver coins. Any idea of their worth? And could you post something on your "wand"? Make, model number etc.
  16. If you need any help Sierra, please let me know.
  17. Another year younger Vaca. Have a good one.
  18. I'll post some extracts from the plan Bucky.
  19. I was hoping you might come along Bucky and pitch in with some comments. I was very impressed with the quality of the logs and bought more than I really need to get started in the spring. The Consultants just finished doing a 10 year plan for me which has now been approved by the Ontario Forestry Commission. This is one of the requirements for the tax break and it is a win, win for all.
  20. The guy on the right was referred to me by a Mennonite friend who saws logs for a living. He buys over 20,000 board feet from them each year.
  21. Just bought some very nice cedar logs from a couple of real rough characters. I suspect they stole them from some farmer. Saves me a lot of work going into the swamp and risking my life. As soon as spring comes and the snow is gone, I will start sawing them. I already have orders for decking and tongue and groove cedar from a guy who wants to side his pool cabana. I paid $2,000 for the logs and will get back $5,000. I have also made a deal with them to come back in the spring and cut my cedar our of the swamp on a 50-50 basis.
