  1. Place dangerdogz.com as an entry into your compatibility mode list. That should solve it.
  2. Very fun! And yes, good work on that kill, FT. I realized that I turned too late for a good set up. I wasn't agressive enough. Definitely should have come around faster. Result probably would have been the same, though.
  3. I'm on TS if anyone wants help getting 4.13 installed.

  5. I've been testing 4.13m bombing (single player) in all the new bombsights and changes. http://dangerdogz.com/forums/files/file/773-il2-1946-413m-key-listing/ The above link will give you a Word Document with ALL the commands in IL2 1946 4.13m. Might be helpful to create a quick-glance reference as you come to terms with a few of the new commands. You can edit the Word Doc and put your own keybindings in. I had to print mine out as I work with the new bombsight commands. The good news: The bombsights are wonderful. They work really well and the Readme PDF is a great guide. I took ONE mission that I built and just copied it, adding the different aircraft that utilize the different bombsights and just practiced. Once you get the hang of how to do it (and it ain't that hard), you just can't... miss... it almost feels like... well... cheating. It's math. Geometry, and these bombsights do some cool things. My opinion is that it is a bit harder to bomb in the previous patches than it is now. I don't need the Bombsight Table 2.0 utility anymore. The bad news: Are there issues? Oh yes. A few of them. Especially around (darn it) coop mode. But I think they are going to be able to fix those issues. It took me some time to really THINK about my keyboard layout. I didn't really have to change my HOTAS stuff at all... Anyways, I hope you guys find the vault attachments helpful.
  6. Is this a 30 minute shout argument or a full hour? Alpha and I had a GREAT chat on TS and we were both barking at the same tree... just catered to differrent languages.
  7. One of the risks in having a shoutbox I guess.
  8. I'm removing my linked file from the vault. If you want to retro-patch back to 4.12m, make your own little mod that has files.sfs and dt.dll and you'll be back at 4.12.2. Or, you can make a 15GB copy of your game install.
  9. Alpha. You should know better. http://forum.1cpublishing.eu/showthread.php?p=709965#post709965 Do you have the patch? Have you tested it? Don't download mine. Download the official one and try it yourself. If you want, make an entire NEW install and try it. Give it a shot and post back. I get irritated when people don't test reports and just disagree for the sole purpose of being contrarian. I have years of experience as a beta tester (we were called the punch team) with 1C Maddox way before DT started with this game... when it was Forgotten Battles (and even before Pacific Fighters). In that time, it is COMMON PRACTICE to utilize the previous files.SFS file to retro-grade an RC, a new patch, etc. All the additional file pointers to the official SFS files are CONTAINED in the files.SFS file. If you replace the current one with the last one (and now the DT.dll file), the game doesn't know any different. It's why they stopped the practice of overwriting EXISTING SFS files and why they only INCREMENT now. I know which files dictate how the game versions itself. THE SOLE DIFFERENCE to what I linked in the Vault to the OFFICIAL patch is simply a folder in the jsgmemods folder so people can easily go back to 4.12.2. If you read that, you would know that ALL THE OTHER 4.13RC4 files are untouched. So, I have a clean, vanilla 4.13RC4 version. If you delete that little mod meant to help people out, then it's just the offiical 4.13mRC4 patch. Grrr.
  10. There's a retro mod available in my special package that means you wouldn't have to have a complete separate install. You can create one yourself. The ONLY files that are needed to retro-patch over a working 4.13m RC4 game are: DT.dll files.SFS Even the new SFS files that come with 4.13m RC4 will be ignored by 4.12.2m if you use the above two files. ALL THAT BEING SAID... use my advise at your own risk.
  11. Excellent post! Thank you! I have the old TrackIR Pro 3 (no vector clip) and it works great... But I'm sure I'll need to upgrade eventually. Great video though.
  12. I am going to try to be there. Will check mission briefing soon.
  13. Yes, please. Count me in, you North American piece of... oh wait. I'm basically from Seattle. Ok. Sure. I guess.

    Tiger Moth

    Absolutely stunning.
  15. Good job, Tonar! Nah. That doesn't look like a porn stache! Hahahah. I would know. I mean, what?
  16. Yup. That's my monitor. That's what I fly with. It's a great 4:3 aspect ratio Gateway VX920 monitor. Works great. I get a good tan and it warms my room.
  17. I had no idea there was a Movember, I just TODAY saw the post. But I donated to the Dangerdogz today. In my work, we have a No Shave November. I normally have a trimmed goatee (Jonie likes it). Before that, I'm always clean shaven. This month (well, it's December 1), here was the end result of NSNovember for me. Anyone else participate?
  18. PCI USB 2.0 Hub is the way to go. External hubs (especially bus-powered) do not deliver necessary voltage. Powered external hubs still suck
  19. Word. Hahaha. Miss my Tomcats, too.
  20. From 4Shades: "Fundamentally, Expert mode is about reworked flight models and some changes in ground and ship object parameter settings." From this thread: http://simhq.com/forum/ubbthreads.php/topics/3850162/Re_Mod_HSFX7_released
