1. Hardly any in terms of the usage it gets then. Not that we can do much about that beyond asking politely.
2. Ah now, I believe that is a different pilot altogether by the name of Don Bullock. He also recklessly crashed a passenger filled A-26 at Biggin Hill, whilst ignoring the pilot's notes and aerobating the thing. See here: http://napoleon130.tripod.com/id510.html Nasty stuff You're quite right of course Chris, I appear to be having some sort of brain-fade episode recently. Don Bullock's flying was going to kill him sooner or later as the pictures below attest...This is Sally-B flown without the usual care and delicacy she deserves (in my view). The sad part is that he was to take a number of people with him and destroy a valuable aircraft to boot. And here's some footage of Don flying Sally-B and the Invader at Duxford (no crash footage in this video)
3. Well I got the initials right anyway. Apologies to Mr Hoover and I believe your summisation of Mr Holland is pretty right. Have you seen the picture of his 'low pass' in Sally B?

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
4. Was Hoover the pilot of that B-52 that went in with passengers on board? On a lighter note here's some more old footage of another roll

Magnet? As in for the babes? Good lad. Lol
7. The bizarre thing is that neither guy would take the easy way out and just hang up. Humanity's in such trouble.
8. On the show days you'll usually find us up at the 'Tank Bank' from mid-morning onwards (at the western end of the field between the Land Warfare Hall and the peri track). Offers one of the best vantage points as it's slightly higher than the rest of the field and the aircraft come closer to the crowd there than anywhere else - great for the noise and that whiff of burning aviation fuel - lovely. Bit like this; Here's a map of the site - the two red circles are the media areas, but the tank bank is just past the left hand one. As far as transport is concerned, best bet is to get the train to Cambridge and then the shuttle bus to Duxford.
9. Hey Ovy, no prob - the tickets for Legends haven't gone on sale yet. I'll make sure people know when they do. Are you intending to stay in London the whole time or are you joining the chaps at the hotel in Cambridge?
10. Too heavy on the brakes perhaps?
11. Ovy! Even better! You coming to Legends mate?

13. Can an ntrk be recorded with sound? For those that can't make it, It might make instructive viewing, I can't do this afternoon in any case - too many jobs to I also would need to do section 1 first I believe?
14. Depending on when/where/how often, I'd be interested.

17. +1 - and although I have never spoken with her, my thoughts are with Lily and her family as well. Cheers Jabo
18. I agree Perf, but this one is just a little handheld for airshows and suchlike. It's a bit annoying to miss a run and break cos you're engrossed in some whizzy bit of machinery in a hangar (especially when we're at Legends on the day before the show (I like to catch the arrivals)) so my plan was to take this one with me and then I can listen to the radio traffic at the field so I know what's happening. If I get an upgraded version at some point and want to do more listening at home, then a nice aerial in the attic would be just the ticket!
19. Oxoulus Bisto... lol!
20. Don't think you can get a 960 for under £200 unless you go for Palit or similar - the ones I've seen are only 1 or 2GB too. What have you found? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
21. I've come to the conclusion the reason this might not have been working as expected, is because there wasn't much air traffic over the festive period, as I am now picking up some broadcasts albeit very weak ones. Hopefully this will be improved when the new antenna arrives (today fingers crossed!) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
22. Each to their own I suppose, but I like the new start menu and with the search functionality in the taskbar I find it as straight-forward to find stuff in 10 as in 7. Be careful of the apps that you're installing to change the look and feel of 10 though mate, there have been cases in the past where they've proved not to be as innocuous as they appear. There were a number of problems when the switch from XP/Vista to 7 came round. Be aware of installs bundled with adware and/or malware. Glad to see you've got it all working though.
23. Bongo! That you?
