  1. It wasn't going to be all dogfighting if I understand Fen's first post - yeah, some of that by all means but away from the field and only between people who have agreed to be combatants - I have enough trouble getting up and down safely in DCS without wanting to make it any more difficult by adding bullets into the mix. So people who want to learn to fly the these beasties and those that want a scrap can do so all at the same time - I suspect with the numbers using DCS you're going to struggle to get more than a 2v2 in the early days at any rate,
  2. Not heard those, but there must be a way to resolve it - a new license just cos you've upgraded the PC? If that was the case I'd reinstall 7 - do the upgrade and then away you go.
  3. RR Conway goodness
  4. There's a respectable chance they will be - but you're upgrading - so it'll update automatically!
  5. As I said - provided you have upgraded once if then you subsequently want to reinstall your OS (at some point in the future) you can format the drive and use the iso without needing to install 7 first Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. You have to use the upgrade option first then any subsequent installation of the OS you can do with the iso without needing a key. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. VC10 ftw! Couldn't agree more. Always had a soft spot for the VC10 and that was flippin' low! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. I'd be up for the early jets (I only have the Sabre ATM), the warbirds (P-51 and FW190) and the choppers (Mi-8 and Huey) - I have the A-10 also but it's far too complicated for me.
  9. I think you've got it there matey Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. But this isn't an f-2 or f-16 - in fact I'm not sure what it is but whatever it is you might have the right aircraft (incidentally I know the dark grey one is an f-16) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk.
  11. I don't think it's an f-2 either. We had that in the early stages of this thread and I'd wager that Tom is aware of that. The other reason that I'm doubtful is that the f-16/f-2 has a series of small strakes on the top of the fuselage just aft of the radome. They are not in evidence in this pic. I could be wrong... 12. I was thinking much the same thing Chris!
  13. While I wouldn't want to hazard a guess at the operator, it certainly looks like an F-16 to me
  14. ooooo - overrun? crackles and pops?
  15. What are you up to Alpha?
  16. Happy birthday Nage! and Cold_Gambler, wherever you are!
  17. Fen has it I think When you said CAC I was thinking Central Asia Command as in SEAC
  18. Ki-48?
  19. Did you format the card or just delete the files Todd?
  20. Potez 631 or 633 (not much to choose between them anyway- '63 family)
  21. Spotted this the other day, but as my F2 was working fine, it didn't occur to me mention it. Oh well. Joys of CloD
  22. Bf110 - obviously (like that's going to be right)
  23. Maybe not in Sweper's case FT but it was fine for me. I suspect though that there may be a difference between win 10 home and win 10 pro Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. The Walrus (for indeed it is one) is currently at Audley End aerodrome as is TFC's CR.42 which also under restoration to airworthy status. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. After all the discussions regarding the Mosquito announcement over the last few days (which is hugely exciting), I found these pictures of a different type of aircraft under restoration in the UK. How cool to see this fly!
