  1. The HD3P is the more 'feature-rich' board in my opnion, but ony just. In practice I think you'd be hard-pushed to tell the difference. Buy the cheaper one and put the difference into getting a better gfx card.
  2. OK, well you already have my spare PSU so the old man may as well have my spare DVDRW! I'll bring it with me next time I'm due to see you. J
  3. Cpu looks fine. As far as mobo is concerned, I've found Gigabyte to be good and reliable. Incidentally, the offer of a free dvdrw drive is still available if you want it Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Ha ha, I was already a thirty-something by then...
  5. Who's up for this? Initial participation list is as follows; Flying Aircraft List The American Air Show 28-29 May 2016 The flying display will commence at 1.30pm and finish at approximately 5.15pm. All flying is subject to weather, serviceability and operational commitments. The close relationship developed by America and Britain in the First World War is represented with a flying display by a Nieuport 17 and a pair of Royal Aircraft Factory SE5a biplanes. Before America and Britain became official allies in the Second World War, Britain bought American equipment to prepare for war. Glorious 1930s aircraft, including the Boeing Stearman, North American Harvard, Spartan Executive and Ryan STA demonstrate this period. IWM’s Supermarine Spitfire Mark I flies alongside a Spitfire IX and a Hurricane, representing the American pilots who volunteered to serve in the RAF prior to America entering the Second World War. America’s entry into the Second World War, post-Pearl Harbor, is symbolised by B-17 Flying Fortress Sally B flying in formation with P-51 Mustangs, the ‘little friends’ that accompanied these majestic bomber aircraft. The P-51 Mustangs will be intercepted by a Hispano Buchon representing the Messerschmitt Bf 109. The war against Japan in the Pacific was fought over long distances. Aircraft launched from carriers played a vital role alongside their land-based counterparts as the A6M Zero (replica), Curtiss P-40 Warhawk, Grumman Wildcat and Vought Corsair show in a stunning display which represents war in the Pacific. Weird. Well, good luck Dom

    Keyboard Wont Work

We did that after patching Dom's game to HSFX7.0.3. Could try running it again I suppose

    Keyboard Wont Work

We've already replaced conf.ini with my (working) one - so it's not that
  9. Chris, Tell him not to worry about a DVD-RW, He can have one of my spares - Sure it's only £30 but every little...
  10. True but it's not necessary to play the game (at least it hadn't better be - I'll not be affording a 980 for some time).
  11. Maybe later - I have a poorly car to fix first.
  12. The 1150 is the old socket format and won't be around much longer - the latest format is the 2011 v3. The i5 is still a good bet but get the unlocked 'K' variant. There's no real need to go as far as a GTX980 GPU. I'm still running CloD, DCS and IL-2 maxed in 1920x1080 with good framerates on my GTX580 - I would suggest that a 700 or 800 series chip would be plenty (and much cheaper as well - helps to offset the CPU and mobo cost). Happy to talk this through whenever you need Chris
  13. Thanks Alpha, really useful guide - had a try offline and it works well. If there was a version on a white background I'd print it out for reference. Don't suppose you know if there is one?
  14. FYI Kelly, here's the hotel we're using - http://www.expresscambridge.co.uk/ Show dates are 9th & 10th July Tickets have to be purchased in advance here (no tickets available on the gate) - http://www.iwm.org.uk/events/iwm-duxford/airshows I assume the nightmare is that if he's ONLY wearing a beret and a stripey shirt. lol
  15. Kelly you dog! You coming to legends too? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. According to Prof Google there is a London in Canada (in Ontario) and a further 7 in the US (including 2 in Ohio - one of which is in Madison county - presumably the one with all the bridges). So come on Kelly - which one are you visiting en route to Malta? More seriously - I feel a Dogz day out coming on!
  17. Yes, it's been kindly pointed out to me by one or two of the Dogz who are still in possession of their faculties, that I cannot count and in fact it's ten years since the forum started and not 15 as I previously said. So in fact I was five out and not six...aaaaah, I see what you did there....
  18. Yep, that's right - 10 years ago today (yesterday allowing for the time difference) the first Dog joined the forum - Perhaps unsurprisingly the first account belonged to Big Enk, other notables from Day 1 were BG, JensenPark and Delta7! Perhaps a celebratory set of Tuedsay co-ops are in order? Happy Birthday Dogz! Jabo
  19. No, 2016 hasn't exactly started well for quite a few people and not just in the aviation sphere either. [emoji20] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Looks like a pretty texbook belly landing to me - That'll take some buffing out though
  21. This is the 'Mach Loop' and there's some spectacular footage about from there. Contrary to name the jets aren't breaking the sound barrier but fast and low? Yep Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. All very dystopian/post apocalyptic. Neat stuff. Thanks mate. Cool that you have a yen for exploring and places to go do it!
