  1. Version 2

    22 downloads

4K Textures Mod to update the default skins in game (Only required if you want to use 4K textures) Installation: 1. Create a folder called 'Mods' in the root directory for your game (something like E:\IL-2 Sturmovik\Mods) 2. Unzip this file to the Mods folder. The structure should look like E:\IL-2 Sturmovik\Mods\4K Default Skin Replacements for BoM-BoS-BoK 3. Enable via JSGME. Ensure this is loaded after the Normalmaps mod and before any other 4K texture mods.

JSGME for IL-2 GBS. 1. Extract to a folder 2. Run the executable and when prompted provide the path to the game (in my case e:\IL-2 Sturmovik GBS). The installer will also prompt you to add a desktop icon and also ask if you want to view the user guide.
  4. Thanks for sharing that Sid, what a story! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Great read, thanks for posting BB!
  6. Ditto, mine's working too - there's a 66Mb update available now.
  7. Eh? What’s going on Mel? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. This is not limited to Blitz either, apparently this 'update' has broken a lot of games
  9. A dark day indeed.
  10. Cool piloting skills! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. OK, so I've pulled the poll for now, as it appears we need a rethink. I'm sort of in agreement with the views above - there might be a case for dropping the Tuesday '46 session in favour of a BoX training/setup/co-op one instead. How many people do we get on a Tuesday on average - 6? 10? How many of those active have BoX as well? Maybe a straw poll of the active Dogz tonight?
  12. I currently have BoS, BoM and BoK all premium so I have all the collector planes as well (barring the 109 G6 and La5-FN which I will be getting soon)
  13. You're welcome. Hopefully that's got it sorted - join us on Wednesday evening (GMT) if you can and we'll get some flying in too.
  14. The link below is the first one that comes up when you google the error code...not exactly your error but gives me an idea. https://forum.il2sturmovik.com/topic/34673-instant-crash-in-3001-htc-vive-2d-resolved/ You mentioned on FB that you were running an MSI gaming app. Try a restart and launch the game without running the app and see if that resolves the problem.
  15. The event viewer is a windows application which records information about software running on your rig (amongst other things). You can find it by right-clicking the windows icon in the bottom left of your desktop, select 'Computer Management, expand 'Event Viewer' (click the arrowhead), expand 'Windows Logs' then finally clicking 'Application'. Once you're in the application log, you need to look for errors occurring at the times when BoS has crashed. If you can't be sure try running the game to the point where it fails and then immediately check the log file. When you click on an error, the log will tell you which application has crashed and will give you an error code (like 0x5776ade0 for instance) - This code sometimes is useful to tell us what's happened. If you can post that error up we can look at things in a bit more detail.
  16. Hi Bill, welcome aboard! Regarding this BoS problem, are there any errors showing up in the Event Viewer? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. You guys have waaay too much cash
  18. It's certainly a beautiful thing, but that's gonna be seriously expensive.

  21. As far as I know, there’s no other way to get a refund or exchange tickets Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. Hopefully there’s somebody on here wanting a two-day ticket who hasn’t yet bought one (unfortunately, I already have mine otherwise I’d be happy to have one) failing that, how about shaving off a couple of pounds and put em on eBay? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. Indeed it will!
  24. For what it’s worth FT, I’m running all my (USB 2) controllers through a powered USB 3 hub plugged into a USB 3 socket on the mobo and it’s been pretty much trouble free since. This is what I have; Anker 4-Port Ultra-Slim USB 3.0 Data Hub with 10W Power Adapter / USB Wall Charger Included https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0192LVM86/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_4JeLAbM3GEGFS Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
