  1. Ah yes, the Widowmaker. Complete insanity
  2. This has huge fireball written all over it. Yak-110!
  3. Thanks for the update Chris. Something which definitely WON'T be there this year is nonetheless making some nice progress now...Believed to be in H2 at DX (final assembly?) Photo taken 12/06/2018 (credit to BeaufighterVI on the Key forums) And Berlin Express has a new lid! (and as I type has possibly already been flown by Mr Romain)
  4. I remember the very first time I saw the Tiger, I wasn't even aware such a thing existed before! TFC's ironworks 4-ship 'cat display was a wonderful thing to behold.
  5. Might be up for that Dave, as I'm not sure if I have a +1 for my room - So...Possibly a spare room at DX hotel going begging - anyone?
  6. Hopefully you had a good turn out and the flypast went well. ~S~ WWHappy, blue skies sir.
  7. I have most of the prop stuff and the helis.
  8. And lucky there was a set of wings nearly complete in the States which they could use.
  9. Unless you're buying them as a 'Friend' of the IWM - no early bird prices then ?
  10. surely the goo squished between my heatsink and CPU would be classed as 'open'
  11. Hi Roberts - it's been a while! Much like FT, I'm using an (ancient) MS Sidewinder 2 FFB stick, secondhand Saitek pedals, CH Throttle quadrant (the last iteration of the software runs OK on Win 10) and a custom button box so I don't have much experience with the newer sticks but your hardware choices look good. You could save some money by going for a GTX980 rather than the 1060 - I believe the performance is similar - certainly my 980 runs all the current sims with all the eye candy on at decent frame rates.
  12. Interesting article - I am rather envious of Richard Grace's toybox, even if Air Leasing is the operator rather than the owner of the aircraft.
  13. It flies! P-47 'Nellie' (G-THUN) about to touchdown after a test sortie from her Duxford home (At least I think it's Duxford - don't remember all those trees though). This is going to freakin' AWESOME (as long as they open the taps a bit and not just have her stooging around with Sally B!) (Not my photo - it's in focus - Credit to Duxman over at the Historic Aviation forum)
  14. ...see also, BoS, BoM, BoK, BoB (eventually), BoX and GBS

    Hey fellas!

Welcome back Smash, as they say, once a dangerdog, always a dangerdog.
  16. This is looking REALLY good!
  17. I'd prefer engines off but pre-warmed at mission start personally but it's a good step in the right direction
  18. Colin! It'll be splendid to see you old fruit. Sorry to hear RL is causing you grief
  19. Another type Richard Grace is checked out on? That guy is turning into a regular Winkle. Looking forward to seeing that bird in the metal. Legends hopefully especially given Mr Grace’s connections with TFC Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Well, it looks interesting. I’ll have to do a bit more reading up but it’s worth looking at Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. Yes, we can keep this discussion going until BoX' replacement is ready
  22. No pussies here, but alternating Tuesdays sounds like a good idea at least until ppl without BoX are able catch up with the curve. Or we could go and fly airliners on FSX. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
