Let me see if I have this right - I currently own BoS and BoM (both premium) so although the Kuban map would be in my install (eventually) I could still only fly on the Stalingrad or Moscow maps? That would seem to make sense. One big drawback with BoX, no Beaufighter

Has that been definitively confirmed? I've not seen that. I agree that it's highly probable though - hence the use of 'may'. Rather a moot point though given that 4.5 is not out yet. 2 weeks is probably about right.

Thanks Arthur - That's helpful. For the record on my I5-2500K rig with a GTX980 I'm running fullscreen (1920x1080) with everything at Ultra-High settings and things are smooooooth as you like. Oh, and just got my first BoX air-to-air kill (La-5 vs 109). Engine management especially on the older aircraft is a pig but I got a handle on it in CloD, sure I will here too. I have to say that it all feels a bit 'clunky' in the menus and the lack of clickable cockpits is a drawback but the rest of it is very nice.

Difficult to say but I reckon he's the only one Dave. Last night Ovy, Dan, Jabo, FT, Sweper, Blubear, Fenrir, Papabear were all on although not all at the same time as Ovy and Dan left early on. I already have it Dave, but I thought it might be useful for those wanting to take a look before committing the cash.

Not sure I entirely agree about the lack of variety in CloD - true, we fly the Spits and Hurris a lot, and I like to think some of us have got pretty good with them too, but there are other things to do within the context of our server - Fen, FT and I were flying Ju-88's on a raid yesterday evening (True, only 2 got as far as the target and only 1 got home so...). So what if the map doesn't change? There is (for me anyway) a considerable amount of enjoyment (and satisfaction) in navigation by using known landmarks and sun position etc. Each to their own though.

V-sync limits maximum fps to your monitor's refresh rate (despite what the game says it's producing). Most monitors refresh at 60Hz so max fps is that too with v-sync on.

Lol, I see where you're coming from - that's the first I've heard about AMD and nVidia's different approach to v-sync. Interesting...

Does anyone know if BoX has a trial mode a la 'Rise of Flight'? Might be an opportunity for those who have not bought the game to have a look and see without the outlay?
