I think so Rog. I've seen this error before when I've mistyped a product key.

Are you sure they're 1's amd 0's Jim? I don't know that MS use those characters in their product keys.

So they don't get lost. lol

They're probably using Facebook and Twitter Rog - or they're allergic to Dogz

Have you a link for the version of the Plutonium pack you're using Kev? The version I've got crashes the game at 30% mission loading.

***EDIT*** Not to worry, I found the solution over on SAS (disable one of the classfiles). Seems to be working OK now.

Having read the acceptable usage guidelines at our place, I'm happy I'm not breaking any rules by logging into dangerdogz.com at lunchtimes. Ah, the benefits of not having an office...

I'm happy to pick up and test a few missions. Any suggestions?

See? I knew I'd missed something...
Thanks Kev.

I've obviously missed something here, but I don't have a #UP# folder.

Welcome to the pound Wolf - grab yourself a vacant kennel and enjoy your stay - Be warned though, the DDz can be habit-forming...

Can't think of another pun to do with cows right now, so welcome back Campi!

Well done Sweper for spotting today's deliberate mistake (cough). Yes, I meant 25th June, not 25th July.

Hi all, just to let you know that the cut-off date for ordering shirts and things from Jabo Enterprises in time for the Legends weekend will be 25/07/11 or 07/25/11 depending on where in the world you are.
All current requests have now been ordered from the embroidery firm (see PMs if you've ordered recently)
Cheers

I'd be interested in obtaining a copy JP, could we come to an arrangement?
-
Yep, I'm happy with it, the addtional skins pack is good too. Doesn't seem to be much in the way of problems - all good.

Got widescreen and all my settings back by backing up the conf.ini and users folder and copying the ones from my 4.10.1 install in. Seems OK

Only at 62% at 7am this morning 14 hours after starting. Hopefully it'll be complete by the time I get home. Looks like the higher throughput supposedly available during the night didn't make it to me. I'm averaging 95kB/s.

25 hours(ish) remaining for me, currently at 10% with 3 hours gone.

3 and 6 months indeed. And that rig was over £1500!!
I'd have been v. unhappy. As was he.

I took no offense.
I must try harder.

All this is good but is it going to make the sim more Historical in behaviour. I have been reading mixed reviews of what is supposed to be coming out. New planes and stuff is fine but if flight and damage models have been toyed with for the sake of "play balance" then its not a move forward and one that I would not likely follow.
Point is, how many people are qualified to say how a P-51 handled vs an Fw190? There will be people who say, "oh, my Spitfire Vb is 10 mph slower in the dive therefore the new FM is porked", but they're only comparing the previous FM with the new one, therefore 'historical accuracy' is something of a misnomer. All I'm saying is don't write it off before we've seen it, reviews are subjective, the only point of view that matters (to you) is your own.Compare this with the whiners over at 1c and the Ubi forums when 4.10 introduced 'realistic' bombing - I definitely wanted to shake one or two of them warmly by the throat while yelling "HAVE YOU EVER DROPPED A BOMB FROM A TEMPEST?? NO?? WELL STOP F**KING COMPLAINING THEN!!!"
True, true. I am addressing things that exist already like the wings coming off 190s at a dive speed that would not have had the same result in real documented life. We don't need any more stuff like that. Yes things can be debatable away from documentation, though that don't exist for every issue. I vote for documentation, not play balance. I am amazed at times with all the effort that goes into making a sim, a good one anyways and I am grateful for that. Yeah your right, I can't hop into a Tempest, but this is where I hope to experience the next best thing otherwise I should go brush off Chuck Yeager's Air Combat.
Ah, thought this might happen. My mini-rant was not aimed at you Mr. Krieger, rather the numpties on other forums who feel it's perfectly acceptable to burn precious minutes of my life with their inane witterings. It's like murder with a very, very tiny knife.

P.S. Time spent reading the posts here on the other hand is not like murder in the 1,000,000th degree as they are erudite, cogent and AGREE WITH ME.

I still think you're better off with a decent high-speed HDD which will only provide marginally less performance (day-to-day) without ramping the cost up.
Incidentally, one of the guys who I used to work with had an Alienware rig with a pair of SSD drives. One of which failed three months in and the other after six months...
