Yep, spybot works for me pretty much every time I'm faced with a PC running in 'kin slow mode.
Just a quick point though Enforcer, what anti-virus/anti-spyware are you running at present and are you confident that's it's keeping itself updated?

Hi chaps,
I've been considering getting myself one of these x52 thingies - they seem pretty neat to me, and given the amount of time I've been spending in my own flaming crater recently when 'flying' with you guys, they're pretty cool to look at too.
Just one teeny question tho...X52 (which I can get for about £65) or the 'pro' (lol) version (about £100). Can anyone explain to me what the differences are and if it's worth the additional £35?
TIA and happy holidays to all

Well done Psycho, the Saitek sticks are a proper bugger to get apart, more of a bugger to get 'em back together and even more of a bugger to get working again - I speak from bitter experience - Mind you my bog-std Cyborg stick's been apart (and gently modified) enough times that I can now strip it down and reassemble it in a mere couple of weeks

Nice pics, have yet to see the Raptor in UK skies

Many happy returns BG - hope you've had (are having) a good one

~S~ guys
Well, whaddya know, mine's the same too Fireman - In the case of my install of the game, '0' is where my settings are...I only have the one pilot set up, so if you still have the original John Doe then that would explain you seeing doe and 0.
Bear in mind that if your pilot doesn't have a surname (mine only has Jabo as a nickname), then the game is having to call the folder with your settings in something - may as well be '0' as anything else.
AWOL tonight guys, but should be back on Thursday for target practice.

Hi Frior
I know what you are going thru, even as a system builder, I get a bit nervous at the processor installation point.
I'll be happy to help if I can, but I'd need some more info first, specifically photos of the heatsink and clamp assy and of the socket on your mainboard.
One point I would make though is that installing a CPU with the mainboard in the case is risky as you may have to apply a fair amount of force to the clamp to get it to lock in place. As most mainboards are held up on pillars, pressing down hard on the heatsink clamp is likely to bend the mainboard, and overdoing that can lead to a whole world of hurt. Personally, I'd remove the mainboard from the case, and fit the CPU and heatsink with the board sat on something which which will hold it secure. I use a sheet of polystyrene about 20" square and 5mm thick which I glued to my bench for this very purpose. In fact, I tend to add as much to the board as possible before installing it (memory etc) to minimise the amount of messing about I have to do inside the case.
Apologies if this post oversteps the mark 'cos I'm a newbie here...

Oh man! Gotta dig the 'ryche
I've been hooked on this band since 'Rage For Order'. Never met Geoff Tate, but did bump into Chris and Eddie at a certain rock club in Birmingham one night some time in 1990-91 after they'd done a gig in the area. I'd been there too!

Hi C_G
Regrettably, as my Grandfather passed away over 20 years ago now, the likelihood of my being able to find any photos of him either with the car or Monty or both are slim, but he told me himself of the time he spent chauffeuring Monty about during the lead up to D-Day.
On a slightly related note, tomorrow is the anniversary of the loss of his brother (a Wellington pilot) during a raid in 1943 - he was 21
~S~ Bill - I owe you
