  1. Chaps, recently I've been considering picking up the paintbrush and doing a little light kit building for the first time in years. Bearing in mind that all the stuff I had disappeared years ago, what in your opinion(s) do I need to get started/essentials? Apart from a kit that is...

Oh and I want to try my hand at spraying too...

PS. On a slightly related note, just skimmed thru the keypublishing forum thread and it's nice to see all the sniping, backbiting and flaming is still in place. I swear I've never seen anywhere more full of moaning, whinging so and so's who never miss an opportunity to slag each other off - apart from ubi and 1c forums obviously.

  3. Damn, thats a real shame, that seafire was very nice. ~S~ to Anna though. She's done a lovely job of getting that down with minimal damage. I thought initially engine failure, but it looks like it was under power from the pics. Not hydraulics either cos she'd got the flaps down. Hmm.

I assume that's the Kennet aviation example Chris?

  4. It's odd why there are some people struggling to get it working period and others where it doesn't seem to have problems. FWIW, I don't switch my install between up3 and 4.10.1 using jsgme, I've gone down the route of separate installs for each. Seems happier that way rather than using different .exes.

Personally I like up3 and the things it offers and I believe we should continue to support both up3 and 4.10.1 while the devs get the bugs out. If the community doesn't support the devs, enhancements to the game will dry up. Bear in mind we are getting all this though the blood, sweat and tears of a fairly small group of talented individuals, and we're getting it for free!
