I tend to fly differently depending on the situation- on warclouds I am very carefull and wont attack unless I have a clear advantage - its all stalking and slashing attacks - there is loose team play but not that much and I tend not to comprimise my position a lot - even if a teammate gets himself into a bad situation - too many times Iv dived in to help only to get shot down myself while the " friend" escapes or I wound the guy and the friendly steals my kill

sged- this BOB is an older sim by a company called ROWAN. they folded but let the source code to a group of enthusiasts who continued to develop it in their spare time, shockwave then took over the development and released it as Bob Wings of Victory and have continued to support the enthusiasts development team

CEM is really to do with superchargers , mixture, boost or WEP and proppitch and Ill throw in trim as well 1) superchargers- some planes have superchargers - these are used to increase the engine power above certain heights - some have one stage , some two.

I have moved this to general discussion to allow all to see this - I think it is well written and worth reading , we are getting a lot of new players and some might not be familiar with the workings of the net and the need to keep everything tight or the effect this will have on other players. We are moving to a new seow and I would like everyone to take a little time to make sure their machines are optimised - I believe we are not allowing skin downloads and everyone should set their machines to 56k in network tab to optimise client side - If Iv made a mistaake with this then please could the guys who know more about this correct this post. I also think that people should consider playing in excellent instead of perfect if they use this. to sum up I think we should all take some time to optimise our machines to allow us all to enjoy seow If any others have any info that they think would help reduce lag then please post here thanks for listning

guys - lcds display differently from crts so refresh rate isnt an issue with them - they usually only have one 60hz or 2 ( 60 and 75hz)- they are actually easier on the eyes than crts- CRTs should be set to greater than 60hz refresh. the only problem Iv found since going from crt to lcd is that I have to run it at the native resolution of 1280*1024 instead of 1024*768. or I get game crashes I find the dots easier to see at lower res and of course you get slightly higher fps a lower res I bought a viewsonic vp930b which isnt a " gaming" panel but meant to have high iq. Ok the old hick's brain is a bit slow this morning. What does this mean?
