  10. http://www.maplin.co.uk/module.aspx?Mod ... 1&doy=26m6 will solve your connection problems you should try to put the graphics card on its own power rail and use the splitter to allow you to connect other users the power supply will output x volts (12 I think) and the extra power is just to supply more demand so I think he is talking sh1te but Im not sure so wait until someone who knows electrics replies mate

  16. your processor will not allow full benifit to later cards but this is a nice card- It was my last one and performed nearly as good as my new one - just doesnt allow you to go to high aa and af but nice enough and a good balance for your system Radeon 9600 Pro 256 AGP or from a reputable site http://www.komplett.co.uk/k/ki.aspx?sku=307933 now I dont know what you expect mate but you might get a very slight increase in FPS and you will get better image quality. if you want more fps then you will need to look at your motherboard manual and check the largest processor you can squeeze in for your board- you might have to set up the bios as well to take the new processor but Im not a dell expert- Quazi is your man here. Edit: shortened the url for better viewing
  17. you wont get that much better for your money mate - what processor do you have ? there is

  19. Malta was scheduled for invasion and they had troops and planes ready in sicily , however a combination of factors prevented it from going ahead- 1) they lost a lot of their elite pratroopers in taking crete and a lot of ju52 s - they used ju52s to land paratroopers onto airfieds- often while fighting was going on, and they used instructors to fly these. these were hammered by aa on crete incidentally one of the factors for luftwaffe racking up losses later in the war was lack of training as they were very short of instructors and so arrived at front line units very poorly prepared. 2) rommel was doing well in north africa so it was thought

  21. Im still pluggin away with my hasegawa 1/48th hartman 109k but Im not really happy with the kit-it got rave reviews but some of the fit wasnt great and the surface doesnt stand up to sanding well, the revell spitfire kit was much better Trying to get the flaps and radiator to sit in down position is a major pain- the contact area is very thin and they keep coming off. To cap it all I was starting the paint job yesterday. It started off very well , I thinned the paint and it went on very nice- then I tried to touch up a minor flaw and the shade had changed and it was a bit thicker so it looked shit- so I took all the paint off and the thinner loosend the glue on the flaps and rads so they fell off along with some other minor fiddly parts- AAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGG it was very close to being thrown in the bin but I worked on it again and everything is back on so Ill be back to painting it next week
  22. good fun flying there last night with some of the guys- next time tho I think we will go to the dogz ts and try to work better as a team - we left poor old toner to get slaughtered in his bomber but we were pretty much tied down to the base in the second mission. big thanks to bbloke for trying to cover my tail- it was hard work last night and in fact this last week has been a mare for me on warclouds - I have tried to mix it up a bit more to try to improve my kill ratio and it aint worked too well. I havnt hit shit and my survival rate has plummited - either they are getting better or Im getting old. I think Ill have to go back to my high stalking plan- at least that way I live longer anyway thanks for joining me guys and I hope we can do it again - or team up on zvw if you want some nights S delta
  23. a fine film and fitting tribute. BTW A dogz had a very minor part in helping out.The story of malta has always interested me and I was able to help out birdbrain when he was making the maps and campaign that were used in the film. He requested info and I sent him a book I had. The film has some license on the facts. There were more than the 3 biplanes available - around 6 were constructed from 15 in crates left by HMS glorious as a reserve when she served in the med. These formed the Hal Far wing. The other remaining planes were salvaged as parts and spares to keep these 4 in the air. The pilots were a group of volunteers from raf and fleet air arm , none were trained fighter pilots and Flt Lt Burgess was a personnel assistant to the Air Commander when he volunteered.
