JensenPark Posted April 16, 2010 Posted April 16, 2010 some spectacular shots out there of the ash 'clouds' from volcano. I see Heathrow is shut for a while? UK Dogz...can you actually see the ash clouds? How bad is it? Quote
Streak Posted April 16, 2010 Posted April 16, 2010 I'd like to know if it's visible too. But I don't think it takes much ash to shut down jet travel. Volcanic glass fragments and jet engines just don't mix. Quote
1. DDz Quorum B16Enk Posted April 16, 2010 1. DDz Quorum Posted April 16, 2010 Nothing visible here in London or @ home in Cambridge. I think it is most likely a smudge and so high invisible to the naked eye. It may give rise to some interesting sunsets though.. Quote
DD_Arthur Posted April 16, 2010 Posted April 16, 2010 It may give rise to some interesting sunsets though.. Didn't down here in Devon. We drove up onto Dartmoor yesterday evening for the sunset. With these lovely clear days we've been having it was beautiful but nothing unusual. Got to have a couple of pints in the Warren Inn though! Quote
