It was made in 1969 and was called the Battle of Britain. I am sure you could rent it from your local. Well worth a watch.

My Dad was stationed at the RAF base where they got fighter pilot volunteers from, lucky sods got to fly Spitfires for the film.

He recalls one saying how he couldn't get over the experience, and it was far more 'fun' than flying jets...

Still makes me green .
