dimaz45
Well, your joystick is not listed in there? Was it disconnected maybe? If it was connected... dunno why it would not show up. Then again, for IL2 to be able to use it, it must show up in 'Direct Input Devices' .... Edit: As it is a laptop, are you maybe using a USB hub? If so, try and connect the stick directly to a port on the laptop... Yes my joystick is disconnected hehehe

1. DDz Quorum FoolTrottel Posted September 19, 2014 1. DDz Quorum Share Posted September 19, 2014 Something else to try: Start the game, go to Pilot, create a new pilot, and select it. Then go into Controls, and try assigning it once more, by clicking and then moving the axis... Oh, and make sure the stick is connected first

AlexB
B16Enk, Still struggling a bit got most of the joystick controls and key commands figured out and set. It's the taking off in the BF109 the plane keeps moving to the left can't keep it going straight. I've downloaded IL2 1946 from Steam. Not sure if it was ok to ask for help here or should I have created a new post?
1. DDz Quorum FoolTrottel Posted March 22, 2015 1. DDz Quorum Share Posted March 22, 2015 That's the torque of the engine ... You should use some right rudder to encounter it. Being easy on the throttle will also help. And locking the tail wheel may be of help. You might as well start a new thread, as I guess you will have more questions in the near future (Tips on new thread: if you introduce yourself, and mention you like sheep, and state you're new and in need of help, then plenty of help full replies will follow ...)
