DD_Arthur
CoD in it's new winter glory @Team Fusion patch 4.00 Manston and FruitBat land at top left. Whilst on my sightseeing trip at 23,000ft. I managed to fall asleep and get myself comprehensively bounced by a lone '109. Luckily he fluffed it by coming in too fast and opening fire too late. The first I knew about it was a couple of thumps and the instrument lights and gunsight lamp failing - he'd shot up the electrics but that was all! I immediately broke upwards and to the left. I think if I hadn't he would have rammed me. Incredibly, what he did manage to do was come in so close he hit my tail wheel with his cockpit hood and it flew off! This is the end of him. He climbed away into the contrail layer and I was able to follow from behind and below and watch as a couple of Spits sorted him out in short order. Oh yeah, just a quick reminder of one of the reasons Oleg lost the plot with this sim. Just look at the detailing work inside the hanger! DD_Arthur
Thirty-five thousand feet over the channel in the BF109E4/N. Couldn't really get it any higher. This is at full throttle. Check out the boost at this height. At this height and in this plane you do feel like one of the bloody master race too. Wonder what the Spitty mkIIa will get up to? BluBear
It's running fairly smooth on your old 280 Kev, admittedly on reduced graphic settings. Still looks pretty darn good though and notably better after TF4.00. I am now a bonifide clodder!

DD_Arthur
Spitfire mkIIa at thirty-four thousand and seven hundred feet. Just no more to come out of the old girl and barely flying at this height. This is in contrast to the '109 E4/N which was flyable and probably fightable at a little over thirty-five thou. DD_Arthur
Sorry about last night guys. My internet decided to eat itself. Abandoned it all in disgust and returned a couple of hours later to find it all functioning again. Got your poke Fen, lol. Joined ATAG again for the hell of it and found it - as my father used to say - "black as a Witch's tit". There were still twenty + people on the server so I thought I'd give it a spin. Just after take off from Manstone the AA started firing and low and behold a '109 floated through my gunsight! All very weirdly surreal but I got him and with bullets too!!!
