T_O_A_D
Published on May 21, 2013 In 2005, an 83 year-old World War II pilot is surprised to see 16mm footage of his 1944 Spitfire crash for the first time.https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=ie3SrjLlcUY#! Narrator has a bit annoying voice, but what their doing is awsome their idea and plan is sound! Love it. One of those Spitfires is at the Dayton Airforce museum. I got a picture of it somewhere. 1. DDz Quorum FoolTrottel Posted May 25, 2013 1. DDz Quorum Share Posted May 25, 2013 That narrator sure has an irritating voice... Very nice to watch otherwise though.... Recon Pilot: "(...) that was the sweetest thing. Any pilot should fly a Spitfire at least once (...)" Thanks for posting that!

1. DDz Quorum B16Enk Posted May 30, 2013 1. DDz Quorum Share Posted May 30, 2013 As said, awesome. The look on his face when he realised it was his landing, and the humility when he asked if he could get a copy for his kids. Such bravery those guys had.
