You could very well be correct Sir! Ran out of interesting/fitting/relevant/fun bridges to build, so ... yeah. And also got a half finished 1/72nd Lancaster... However, having done so much with wood in the recent past, the plastic feels so... yeah, plastic! It's nowhere near as nice as that other stuff!

Dog Fight Scenario - STOP PRESS IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT

Not just to the planes, to the other tankers as well... lol. In that test setup, I managed to simply hurl some shells at a red square in the distance and get a kill... Brilliant ... -

That FW 190 I claimed (I got it all fired up and shift) is not in the narrative ... Claim not granted by PWCG? Probably because there was nothing left of it ... all burnt up! Or it was stolen? Who did that? Gimme back! -

Instead of re-install, you could try un-install? Might be faster, and will probably result in less stress for you? -

PWCG P-38 Lightning Strikes Co-op Campaign

402ND: Grand show! Third time in a row your Leader had to like return home at the first moment of interaction with an enemy due to damages, and you'll did good again out there on your own. Three perfect pairs! Special Thanks to 2Lt. Dennis Winger: You have now completed three missions, and in all three you had to escort your damaged leader on his way home - you did a perfect job! -
I feel/think both are completely different in origin: Clod was setup to be ground breaking and all different and detailed to an unbelievable level (I think I remember seeing a screenshot where some texts showed some error on a specifically numbered cylinder/piston of a Merlin ... yeah ... wow) with all kinds of really new features - weather and shift - Then when it all went like up-shift-creek, it was rushed out, leaving out all kinds of the advanced new stuff... GBS was created/developed out of Rise Of Flight, stuff being added to it, and expanded. So, it's a so eentirely different origin ... too different... Well, just my feeling anyways, so please ignore me here

PWCG P-38 Lightning Strikes Co-op Campaign
FoolTrottel replied to DD_Fenrir's topic in IL-2 Sturmovik: Great Battles Series
What about the brief? In this campaign, we would not want to hear "So, what are we doing?" .... I called it a dead line, but basically the proper term is "cut off" ... -
Sorry, but I am not going to go there ... I do not want to run the risk of botching up an installation. Not looking forward to "Well, you just browse to the folder. .. blah blah,.. and delete files xyz ... " repair actions. There's plenty of maintenance already with the current updates, and changes to mission files... (Please, do realize I got at least three installations to keep in good working order ... and although the dserver ones run without mods ... No. I'm out...)

Oh, if you've miss the dead line, you can still join the server as spectator, and then, well, spectate, besides listening and crying on comms... -
PWCG P-38 Lightning Strikes Co-op Campaign
FoolTrottel replied to DD_Fenrir's topic in IL-2 Sturmovik: Great Battles Series
My guess and feel is that 15min. would be the max = But in the end, Fenrir should decide. In the past we've had some startup / spawning issues, and well, time flies when you try and fix them. And next, before you know it... we are running late. Mostly, when all goes well, we finish flying around 23:30 CET (which is my time zone) - then a of debrief ... before I know it, it's tomorrow already! For sure, I can postpone bed time, but I know there's also people going to work after the mission ends ... lol. -
PWCG P-38 Lightning Strikes Co-op Campaign
FoolTrottel replied to DD_Fenrir's topic in IL-2 Sturmovik: Great Battles Series
Don't think so, the other side has only AI - them do not wait around you know - them just go! Oh wait... you mean ... Well, not my place to state it, but if Fen knows in advance, and it's only a few minutes, it should be possible - though, can we please be a bit more specific re 'a few'? It's all rather vague at the moment ... Now what if, at 8:50pm, you tell 'm you gotta throw another shrimp on the barbie, they'll get it ... -
Missing this one: 'Extend/Retract front & back anti-50-bounce shields (toggle)' ... (I gots this covered under r-alt-S)

Hello, might wanna join if you"ll have me
FoolTrottel replied to TheAngryGamer75's topic in Recruitment
We got those. How many? Not too sure. Correction, we can all actually think. I doubt the common sense part regularly though. To me it sounds like you would fit our group just fine. We try and combine the common sense with the fun ... it's a balancing act though! You're in the states somewhere I see, so timing wise it could be a challenge for you to join our euro-time-zone flying (we just finished a two and a half hour session ...) We do have some Western USA/Canada - evenings flying going on... Welcome here!
