Nice to see you last night. If you dont know already some info for you If you want to practice take offs use quick mission builder, make sure that there are no enemy or friendly aircraft selected and choose scramble as your target. It is worth mapping keys/buttons to prop pitch up prop pitch down flaps up flaps down manual u/c up manual u/c down tail hook select engines 1,2,3 and four select all engines canopy radiator there are a lot more but that will get you going. Some are already mapped but you still have to know which button to press Someone will be along to give more advice anyway.

I think that IL-2 prefers Nvidia but then I have never used a Radeon card.

Hello Make sure that you havnt installed into C/program files if so copy the whole folder somewhere else like a new folder called games. The first 4 buttons will be auto assigned although you can change them. The other buttons will need to be assigned (maybe prop pitch up and down and flaps up and down)

To make things easy, why not have a short cut to the updater on your desktop and run every Sunday morning?

Thanks for helping a lost sheep. I think that the main issue I had was the main light on in the room making it difficult to see things on the ground, due to the low lighting levels.
