Thanks for the effort Toad. I plan on attemting to get one running this weekend my self. I have to reset my gateway into default values to clear the memory. It is stuck with old info that I can not clear. But I am scared

Dang, I am sorry this turned out to be a pain. Do you need to use the "server" version?? can't you just use the non-server and still host a DF map? Heck I don't even know what the difference is. Don't burn yourself out Cannon_fodder. Even though we appreciated it

OK IL2 GURUs, Cannon_fodder has been trying to set up a dedicated dogfight server for our ladder match and after he installed the game and tried to run it this is what he said he got. "Clicked on the new shortcut and console loads : RTS version 2.2 Core version 2.0 Then crashes Ive tried reinstalling and re-applying the patch but no go Any ideas??

I have 2 PC's connected to a switch, which is then in turn connected to a DSL modem to the Ethernet. I am trying to ping the other PC with timeouts. What Oh GURU's am I missing?
