Hi Guys, After losing my flying time on thursday trying to recover my sound after my 14yr old daughter ad "tweeked" some of the settings I now have my game sound louder than my teamspeak. in a heavy action scenario the talk is almost totally drowned out. Does any one have any clues as to how to go about putting this right, i think i have tried it every which way but still am having problems in not getting it quite right. Cheers Friar
  4. As some of you may know already, I got my new rig up and running yesterday.. My old machine, in Blackdeath at 2:30 running at 1024x768 with most graphics on middle or low setting returned these; Min: 13, Max: 64, Avg:39 On the new rig, exactly the same settings; Min:58, Max: 61, Avg: 60 I took vertical sync off and the max shot up to 1000!, thats not a misprint...yes, one thousand....!!!! holy cow!

    Looks like we have lured another lost soul from the wilderness....... Stick around Sulky, enjoy what the dogz have to offer and we will soon get you a "DD_" infront of your call sign. It was nice talking to you and you seem like you would fit in just right, and of course if any of us go near the BBMF, its good to know we have a man on the inside..   17. what about choice of OS... stick with xp pro or go the vista route, if so which flavour...home, home prem, 32bit, 64 bit ?.. I can this developing into a confusing thread..........

Yesterday, whilst disscussing the family financial situation and other thinks, I happened to comment to my wife about the age of our system and the problems we have been having (blue screens and freezes, also the printer is starting to die) and that I may have to do a re, ref, (come on friar you can say it, deep breath now......) reformat, there, I said it!, bless her cotten socks she says "could you get a new one?", "oh" says me, "I suppose we could.........." So the point of this rambling post is, do any of the UK guys know of any good packages / can offer a good reccomendations to a machine/package that would give me a new flat screen (of decent size), printer, and good machine for gaming, before I start trawling the net.....oh, and the budget £1000!!
  19. we've thought about that before Gec, but then we have the trouble of distributing the tickets, arranging funds transfers etc, so its best we just get our own ticket.
  20. @deskpilot, the dogz will be on parade at the show on saturday. let us know if you are going on that day and will arrange a meet point for all those that want to meet and greet us (autographs can be arranged, and if you ask nicely I may have some pictures of the Sisters)

  23. it would appear not Crash, my version has been around for quite a while and definatly is not a beta
