    Stansted is a 35 minute taxi to Duxford so that is your best bet if you can find an airline that goes in there. Cambridge is about an hour's drive to Duxford so quite close. There is tons to see in London and that's where I would spend my time but I will let some of the locals advise you on going to Normandy.

    Thanks Crash. I have tried it from a book or video but usually get hopelessly lost when things don't work out. I would prefer to take a short course on the basics for photography but the nearest place is 60 miles away. B16Enk showed me a few things when I visited him a few years ago but it is long since gone out of my head.
