  1. The 262 is available on our GBS Server now ... as are the Se5 and Albatros. Well, not in all missions - some of them.
  2. It ís entirely utterly completely virtually professional!
  3. "Hey buddy, you got a match?"

Ok. I'll PM you my address, 20 bucks for a second hand Samsung is a good deal I think...
  5. Sounds good to me... Aint perfect, see Jabo above.... ? As for FT hosting: I have no other things scheduled during the week. (I do not have a social life you know - how cool is that!) Whether I can manage to host any given night, will be depending on my mood / energy level. Those tend to be on the low side at the moment, hence the hosting-but-no-flying. (Yesterday both were up enough to do two successful 110 sorties - too bad nobody was there to watch me do it! ) Hosting specifics: GBS - Anyone can run a coop or a df mission. This is nice, provided one has a good mission. For anyone wanting to host, here's a link to the IL2 Great Battles Easy Mission Generator by Syn_Vander. Very Nice bit of software, this is what I use for Coop sessions in BoX. One may need to figure out what the numbers of AI are for a host to be able to run the mission without performance issues. For volunteers who want to take control of our Dedicated server and generate and host the mission from there, it is possible! Best to have a separate computer to operate the server side of things, as otherwise it'd mean a lot of alt-tabbing. If you want this, let me know in a PM, I can tell you how - Kevin already knows how to do this. Missions: Some people have some, but due to AI behavior one would need a tuned one, to have the correct a/c numbers and types, tuned to the audience at that time. That Mission Generator is really nice for that! DCS - Same regarding our server, access to it is possible, one should upload a mission to the server, one can then load/start it via web-interface. Missions: We do not have many available - yet. Fenrir knows more. CloD - The most technically challenging of them. It's possible to host a closed event on our DF server, but one needs to know a lot about it, it means some tuning/editing - not easy. One could even run ones own Dedicated server, you can do that on the same Pc as the client is running. Missions: Hm, we have none or hardly any. The six I created are hosting-wise such a challenge that even I am struggling to host them 1946 - I think it's covered sufficiently by Crash and me. Missions: we have big set of missions that is shared in the Vault. Somewhere... For anybody to download and host, Hm, maybe this should be not here, but in another topic? Oh well.
  6. And around that time I took a look at our CloD server.... 19 peeps in there! (Not relevant to here, but made me feel kinda funny )
  7. Y'all can do fine without my thoughts about this, cos I aint got none, and I can't make any sense of it all.
  8. "IL-2 CloD: Douze Points!"
  9. Gear selector in a car is not as floppy in its movement as a joystick... Movement is very much limited forward/rearward, and left/right only in its center. That differs a lot from the stirring-in-a-pot a joystick can do ... And even if you can connect them in good working order, how are you going to prevent the stuff from shaking itself to pieces? I do like the idea though
  10. I do not see it working, but maybe I am picturing incorrectly? So, is it the idea to add FFB to the Wharthog? Couple them with only one Rod with them joints? If the FFB stick moves, it will move the rod a bit, but due to the joints, the rod will simply rotate on both ends. I do not see it being able to transfer the movement/shake to the Warthog that way, not in the same extent as the FFB moves. And also, you'd have to assign both sticks to the same in game control. Now what do you think would happen to flight controls when they get input from two controllers - ones that are not equal in signal output... I just do not see it, but like said, I may have it pictured all wrong
  11. Thank you!
  12. That won't do! Give us your opinion ... all your wishes and needs and data are belong to us!
  13. If you really want to fix the low numbers, go out and recruite actively. New members is what we need. People will always drop off, find different interests, just move on. For sure, having 4 types does not help here. But, guess what the numbers would look like had we still be doing only 1946 and CloD... Even if and when we setup a new schedule that fits best, I'd be pleasantly surprised if we regularly have sessions with 10+ jocks. So, anybody want to become recruiting officer? (Oh dear, that's kinda negative isn't it. We're all doomed!)
  14. 1.CloD 2,3,4 (Cannot choose at the moment) =============== 1,2,3,4,5,6 7. Friday Thanks Tom!
  15. There is NO TRY!!
  16. It's mostly training and familiarization at the moment. A lot of code names are flying around when one of those jetfighterjocks fires yet another silly smart fire-and-forget-all-hope-for-the-mig missile thingie into the blue skies. Usually, I am in my Spitfire, throwing bombs at some ships, then head out to sea for a long flight to our carrier, 'land' there, ask ground controls for a repair, take off from the carrier again, and fly home ... it's a hoot! Edit: Every now and then Fenrir hosts a coop, over Normandy, where we try and fly around and survive in formation, or try and escort some B17's, and after they've all been shot down, we fly the long long way back to Tangmere... It is good stuff you know, even without VR
  17. CloD server: I have no intension whatsoever to stop it. All DServers (Clod, DCS, GBS) are now running on one and the same server. Rog is busy to move the rest (forums and stuff) over to it as well, so in the end there will be only one server left, which is good regarding costs. As in less than we are spending currently. I do not see any sense in trying to get CloD server - visitors - users to donate for it. If we want to go that route, then we need to limit access to it to folk-that-pay-to-play-clod, and that simply means shutting it down. As limiting access that way is too labor intensive and complex to implement. In my humble opinion, we offer a free service at the moment. No guarantees, it is what it is - anyone can use it, anyone can enjoy it - for as long as it's there. I do not want to handle any shift when people have donated, and next the CloD server's not available, and I need to fix it because they've paid for it - maybe they have not in a true sense, but they might think they are entitled to using it. I aint goin't here! ?
  18. Nothing much really, we mostly talk about how brilliant 1946 and CloD are ...
  19. I dunno. I really do not know! Not that I do not care - Just can't make up my mind what to think. There's positives and negatives that I can sum up, but I'll go with what is best for the group ...
  20. Hm, what if we simply create a Dogzday, add it somewhere into the regular 7 day week? We will all have a extra evening to spend on ... Oh, yeah, wait, on what?
  21. kjewl!
  22. And here we go again, DCS now running on yet a different server. IP is 136.243.91.74, but you won't need it for SRS-radio, as it auto connects to the new address once you've connected to the server in DCS. You probably need to re-favorite the DangerDogz server though...
  23. Could work. Damage can occur while handling the modules. When within specs, nothing will go wrong with the modules when the PC is switched on. Placement could be relevant, some boards want some specific placement of modules of different sizes.... Manual should tell you that.
