  1. Testing that v20 it right now... and ... selecting the P-51D-15 in the Lobby screen just shows the wait symbol... endlessly. Dserver looks fine, as in mission loaded, and shows me connected... will keep trying ...
  2. You are WAAAYYYY ahead of me, that I am sure of! (Does that help?)
  3. Well, they kinda fixed this... By simply deleting my hometown all together. Road and railroad are there, crossing the river - but no bridges there .... lol Was it something I said ?
  4. It's like they do not want people to make a mess of stuff...
  5. So, now I've added the Refuel and Re-arm stuff into our server. One downside, if you leave your a/c on the runway, AI will take it over, and have its ways with it... Previous versions removed it within a second, that part has stopped working for unknown reasons... Oh well.. Refuel Rearm thread at Atag Forums
  6. Me thinks one should apply that onto a Mossie!
  7. Weird stuff! Now I do recognize that something changes between first time you look at the Axes via Options, Controls, and the next time. The sliders I use for trim (on a Bodnar board) do not show the same response the second time I look at the controls. It all seems much slower - but still, they do work. Once in cockpit, no issues. But, this fact does not help you one bit. You could try and re-install DirectX (Run DxSetup.exe as an administrator, from this folder: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Steamworks Shared\_CommonRedist\DirectX\Jun2010) And maybe have a look at the input section of DxDiag?
  8. How many game controllers do you have? Is there any supporting software for them running?
  9. Yes, they have indeed! I've made a remark on it already, where Jason was asking for information on airfields on the map
  10. Server has been updated, back to running with the -- norender parameter active!
  11. Lookin' good there y'all!!
  12. Delete the contents of the 'Updates' folder... the start the launcher and hope for the best!
  13. That should be doable for me ... thanks! Have already installed OpenBeta too! Now what was it wrote about that energy thi
  14. Oh my my my ... mighty interesting and tempting... I do see some issues - but those are mine only and very personal ... Oh Oh ... push to talk, use a key/button that is nearly out of reach * Need to train myself on handling the Spit for longer flights, and high alt... * Need to install da OpenBeta ... At what time does a mission normally start ? (Although my biggest issue is my current energy state - can't be in the cockpit for that long, with that high level of concentration... Should be better in a few weeks though... I hope ...) But I do like what I see here, very much!
  15. It's a great aircraft for that
  16. I-16 is super fun. It's not difficult to operate, as it is simple. (No trim). The manual gear is a lot of work though, raising and lowering it... Ground handling: Catches me out every now and then, when taxiing too fast, it suddenly just veers left... take off and landing: same, it's tricky, I still haven't figured out a way to do this properly with a predictable result. It's guns are magnificent. Ground attack is what you are limited to, as anything in the air is too fast to catch, although once I got lucky and did damage to a 109. You can load up with rockets. Every now and then I end up with power loss on the engine, have not found out why yet, could be damage from enemy fire, or overheat - have not put the effort in of learning how to read those instruments yet. In the end, it's a hoot, in my opinion. Is it worth the money? Maybe not, because it is so very 'alone' - then again, it is a very nice thing to fly...
  17. On the skin selection screen, at the top you can click on 'official', and next select 'custom'... then they will show.
  18. what an amateur, he ran out of smoke!
  19. Thanks very much!
  20. You probably do have that IRST driver installed on your system. The question is, does your system need it? I do have an M2 SSD on a slot on the motherboard, and Asus does list an Intel-RST driver package for my motherboard... but I do not have it installed anymore. Looks like it does not need it... I uninstalled it, after it made my traditional disks go make a tick-tock sound... so I removed it. Yeah, this all may not help you at all... what make/model is your motherboard? I can try and do some google-stuff... Also, do you use an Intel SSD drive?
  21. So, I took a 110 up high, like real high ... like it would not go any higher no more... And I hit that top cloud layer, and took a peak beyond it... really special to see that ... And then, for comparison, a picture I took on a bike ride earlier this week... there's an aircraft in there! (It's a Pano type shot, so... yeah, to the right, there's some anomaly there, oh well) shot_20190803_212829.bmp shot_20190803_212833.bmp

    Recruiting?

Hi Limey, Good show you're still having fun with 1946! Unfortunately, our group has moved on so to speak, to GBS and DCS. And so, we do not have any dedicated server running 1946 - that could be the reason you were not able to find any We still have a Monday session on our calendar for 1946, but nobody shows up there anymore... Looks like we cannot help you here... (We have a Cliffs-of-Dover server running though, 24/7 - Enjoyed mostly by others, a few of us still fly on Wednesdays... ) Good Luck!
