Immediately start making new backups As for that defective disk: I'd maybe try and put it in the fridge for a while, make it real cool. Then re-connect it, who knows it may fire up. But that's just a last resort attempt, more for laughs and giggles - as well, what if that would work? Now that'd be so cool! I'd just count that disk as a loss.

Oh, the XP ISO is no longer available at Ms. Need to create a bootable USB stick, then copy the XP DVD contents over to it. Should work ... Will do some more searching...

Use the MS Media Creation tool to create a USB stick it can boot from. Think you'll be needing a 4GB one, or maybe 8GB? Oh wait, it's XP you are installing? USB DVD drive? Linux/Ubuntu can also be put on a bootable USB Stick ...

Not completely sure if it will be of help, but in folder Bin/editor there's a batch file called 'ResetEditorSettings.cmd', try and run it ...

At the moment, I think what we are lacking in is mission building. We rely heavily on what the 'Easy mission generator' produces. And in fact it is a very cool and useful utility, as it can and will create missions on the spot, so the host can steer on the number of seats needed, and the plane types, ie. add a Spit VB on the Rheinland map for someone that does not own Bodenplatte. The downside is the missions are 'limited' to certain goals and are all of the same setup: Land where you took off from. What is missing is the kind of custom missions we used to have with 1946, and in a limited sense/number for CloD. Not neccesarily hinting on the long Coops-run-as-Dogfight, but just some custom/signature stuff - yeah, stuka-attack-on-planes-taking-off and that shift fun good show stuff. So, start building missions! Alternatively, one could try and maybe go hunt for missions already created by someone else? Like a good DF map to add to the DF server, or good coops to add to the GoodCoops server ... Or maybe even more simple: Add stuff to the current DF missions, to tune them up a bit?

As of today, we also got a Coop server running 24/7. The Coop server is running the 'GoodCoops' in Rotation. Two of them are in there at the moment, number should increase when we come across one, and someone shouts out 'Good Coop! Save it!' This coop server will be used for hosting the regular coops, so people in waiting can have fun on the regular DF server. Yeah, this will cause confusion, because people will see the DF, join it, and next wonder where everybody is? lol
