  1. Hey Crash, I think I am in a similar boat, though big difference is I am not in VR. So, I have been tuning and trying to OC-as well due to this thread, went from 4.6Ghz (which my Pc has been running for a long time) up to 5GHz, but next back to Stock 4.3, as the only difference I saw was in temps, not in performance.... lol
  2. I tried it on 1080p, did not see any difference, so removed it. Could be me though, not installing it correctly, or... well, in the end, basically, I can't be bothered ...
  3. It aint that difficult, just open the door of the fridge!
  4. Oh, what would really be cool: To print a map of your hometowns surroundings, or of London or Paris on that plywood. And then make a video of you using the PointControls! Haha, that would really look funny.... (Or, maybe not... well, just imagine!)
  5. How to set it all up? - All in game watching carefully placed camera(s) or - All in game in a/c on the ground, watching externals? (No, not really, will still need cameras) or - Several camera's, one operating the views, streaming it to youtube? (Oh my, this could be so much fun - randomly switching to like a camera in a hangar with some sheep or goats in a corner) Meh, just some random thoughts these are... First things first - who's gonna be the boss? Who can and will organize and coordinate it all? Wait, two shows, two coordinators!
  6. And we need a virtual curry place ... "Vitar Tandoori"
  7. So, whenever the GoodCoops set is running, it will now be randomized, and these are the missions in the rotation: [rotation] random = true file = "GoodCoops\Rescue-P38-Spit-v-262-A8" file = "GoodCoops\P38-A20-Ships" file = "GoodCoops\P51-SpitV-110-262" file = "GoodCoops\Migvss109-Airsstart" file = "GoodCoops\P38-P51-v-D9-K4" file = "GoodCoops\190A3-A5vSpitfiresB25D" file = "GoodCoops\110vsb25d-rhineland" Also, random rotation is now switch on for the DF server ...
  8. Thanks! From your description: Can I ask what application you used to create the Zip file? I think it's a brilliant piece of software, it must be!! SidZip? ZipSid ? 😃
  9. Mustang does fly 'better' as in easier. More pleasant to fly? Not sure, it handles easier on t/o and landing, but airborne it borders to becoming boring! Compared to the spit that is Greater range? How far do you want to fly? Or, long do you want to be in cockpit? A properly tuned Spitfire with a drop tank will last... well like over 90 minutes... I think? Fly from South English coast to Normandy, do some flying over there, get back home, no sweat. The 109 I am not familiar with ... (Tip: For real extra special fun in flying, get the I-16!)
  10. Yeah, it 's not so much the peripheral vision - should not have use that word, sorry! - yet more FOV limitation? I am not sure, but how does moving / rolling your eyes do in VR? Maybe that's the "problem?" His movements just look a bit off, not natural?
  11. That plywood stuff: looks like it works ... nice idea, at least your finger has something to push against That video does show the currently limited peripheral vision in VR, and/or limited FOV - Wow, how he has to move his head to look at a switch, that's a lot ... !
  12. Better to have them going all over the place in transit, and have them nice and steady when they've finally arrived me thinks. I mean, picture them being all over the place once in cockpit!
  13. Do you really want me to help you there? Are you sure? Because, well, I cán, but I am sure you will not like my answer!
  14. Oh, yeah, us Dutch started that whole shift of thinkin' something's worth something and even more because a lot of people think they need it... or its value will increase ... I am so sorry about that ...
  15. eh... wot?
  16. You feeling a bit blue today Arthur? Here's something lighter: a really weird cover (of Boys don't Cry by the Cure) "(...) But I split my fore head open on the open cupboard door I tried to laugh about it, wiping the blood from my eyes (...)" ... Okay, okay, we got a music thread here!
  17. Here's mine! As you can see, it has been 75 years, so not that many people joined in ..
  18. Every day is a good day!
  19. 75 Years ago today ... (April 10th) the Canadian army liberated my home town... (Mind you, that's not my flag or house, quite close to it though)
  20. It looks like Hawkinge to me
