  1. Why not ask for a spare set of tires? Put them on an axis, put some weight on it, warm them up from the bottom.... slowly and steadily.... be patient and watch... and watch... and watch out to stop just in time... Oh wait, they're probably hollow on the inside? Hm...
  2. Very well done! Gets to look so real, up to the point where the perfect roundness of the rubber tires starts to look weird!! (Especially in the 7th picture)
  3. Not in Normandy, but in the vicinity of Apeldoorn, the Netherlands...
  4. Welcome ZappaforNowOk!
  5. Here's a link to an article on patching, with links to the patches themselves. (You may need to register at Mission4today though...) http://www.mission4today.com/index.php?name=Knowledge_Base&op=show&kid=584
  6. Welcome!
  7. Happy Happy Birthdays!
  8. Apart from the few mess ups: Good show! Very nice paint job!
  9. Future proofing is very difficult... One thing I know is that - in my experience - updating existing / few years old Processors is hardly worth doing. Either get it right the first time, or suffer a bit for the latter part of three odd years, and buy a new system. JMO.
  10. If indeed it's just for everyday use, as far as I can tell, it's a good buy. (http://dell-inspiron...views.r-tt.com/) Sempron 150 cannot be compared to i3, i5, i7, as it's a single core one. See here: http://www.cpubenchm...AMD+Sempron+150 (Money saver tips: leave out that expensive OS, go for Ubuntu. You won't be needing 4GB as well then, 2GB will do fine, however, it will probably make the machine harder to use for them, as it's so different from MS windows stuff... and they will probably not be familiar with it, and then have to change all the time. I'm starting to blabber now, please ignore...)
  11. I'd rather go for: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W9UgE59NVHM&feature=related Iggy Pop - Now I wanna be your dog
  12. Nope, not that mad Crash... I have tried to put the electronics of the G940, including the HAL sensor thing into the base of the Guillemot. It did not work in the end, as probably the stick movement of the Guillemot was quite different from the Logitech's one, so the HAL sensdor did not sense correctly... resulting into really erratic FFB behaviour... The rumbles of a pad like that are even further away from sending FFB centering and other forces to the stick, so I'm not even going to try that one... But the idea is not at all bad... If only Leo B. supported some FFB signals on his board.
  13. Good show, thanks for posting this!
  14. Still, try it like they state it should be plugged. It's for a reason they want the plugs to be as close together, with as little 'interference' as possible in betweeen them... Maybe something changed there? You plugged in a different device somewhere since the last few weeks?
  15. You do have both adapters in a wall socket? Manual states: "You can plug a power strip into the filtered outlet, but do not plug your Powerline adapter into a power strip."
  16. Nice Spitties!
  17. Check conf.ini contents, compare UP3 one with 4.11m one, either copy/paste the relevant part of conf.ini (can't check right now, at work), or they entire file from 4.11m to UP3...
  18. Congratulations mr. P. !! Brilliant!
  19. The gears did hold the weight of the aircraft, but in the end it nosed over. See the wheels being not really lined up with the rest... This all happened because I had to lower them manually, and it did not get down in time... Oh well.. (That one horizontal stabilizer we lost somewhere over the target, was not landing related.)
  20. Yeah, it's all good. What a mess! Edited by Sweper, Yesterday, 11:13PM No it aint. Edited by WhistlinggDeath, Today, 03:37AM Message reported to administrator by SkyPup, Today 6:16AM
  21. Oh, and it's there in UP3, not in stock 4.11m
  22. Thanks Kevin, tried the 'application controlled' for AF, AAx4 and indeed, FPS when low over water=4 stay up...
