  1. 'Ross, No pillaging! (..)" lol
  2. Brilliant... I think I heard that uniformed guy say the Shturmovik helped the French win the bob!
  3. That'd be cool, have the software lock X and Y values. But, you'd want the stick to remain in its physical position, won't you? Because... your aircraft might get damaged when you activate the stick and it's not in the same position... a wild manouver, high G's... Oh, but the software should then be able to move the stick values slowly over to the new X and Y Values, yes, that might work...
  4. Now that's a great piece of wiring there, so neatly done! All those buttons on the stick, within a hand's reach, that's cool. Just a wild idea/thought: Wouldn't it be nice that when you'd take your hand off of the stick, the stick would remain in the position you left it at? I mean some kind of an instant lock that is applied when you do not grip the stick. That would make button work that's out of a hand's reach easier, I think. Yeah, but how to implement such a thing?? One would be needing FFB, and a sensor, and some re-programming of the FFB driver software...
  5. I'm with Tonar, I don't get it. Who's Michael?
  6. Thanks Swep, did it work out all right?
  7. Unfortunately, something came up, which makes me unsure whether I'll be available for hosting later today... So, in case I'm not there, don't despair, I hope someone else will be able to host, or enjoy the mds server...
  8. Click both mouse buttons on the map, hold them like that, then move the mouse and thus the map a bit down and left...
  9. Oh carp...
  10. Yes, really odd that you can't see the pilot. I zoomed in on the pic... and... there is something weird going on with the pixels there...
  11. Bigger cache is better (faster) though, so it's also a performance thing - loading times again - Whether it's worth the extra money?
  12. What TOAD said!
  13. Like them! Thanks!
  14. So, basically, they ruined the place?
  15. @Crash: Thanks, Ifor that tip @Painless: No, not planning to... however... I might... will depend whether it'll be needing it ... lol
  16. Fireman, if you could be there that day, just be there, and represent us, that would be só good... Whether in uniform or not... being there is what counts... in my opinion... As far as I know, Jim never served... as I think he would've talked about it and I would've remembered... but of the latter, and so, of both ... I'm not sure, I'm a DD after all... From a different point of view: I cannot imagine Jim taking orders from anyone... (The two lines above are basically irrelevant, as I just don not know...)
  17. Oww... carp... I'm sooo sloooww tooodaaayy..... Even too slow for my instant reply to my own post to have it join it into that previous reply... someone's already replied ! Hey, I'm getting back up to speed her... second fast reply ... will it be joint to the other two? Yeah!!
  18. Here's a different way ... Press the 'Insert Link' icon above the edit window. Paste your link into the box titeld URL, that states 'http://" Type your text in the box name 'Link Text' below it. Like this: Press Insert Link, and there ya go! (Note that these icons do not appear in the quick reply window, you need to use the 'Full Editor')
  19. Thanks Rattler... Salute Jim!
  20. Oh, and I decided I want to make it look like the one that was at Duxford, though I know that was a MkII, I still want it... What is lacking is the three crew members, I will be needing 1/32 RAF or Navy modern guys... but I cannot find those in any of the online shops I visit. Anybody got a tip what to get / where to get it? Ty....
  21. Engine. Right hand side: Front: Rear: (After taking these pictures, using a flash, I see it needs some touching up. On the other hand... much of this will be invisible once completed.) Cowling:
  22. Started work on Trumpeters 1/32nd Fairey Swordfish. Link to the shop I got it from. Paint conversion chart as the paint I'm using currently could be some twenty years old... I'm working slowly on it, taking it one step at the time. Below pictures are from a period over a week... First Cockpit parts glued together: (The measure thingy shows cm's) Slapped some paint on it: Some more parts added, basically completing the cockpit. Here's the rear gunner's armament, it's already lost one photo edge part, there was a thingy to help aiming on the barrel... Need some more work on the paint on the outside, then again... this all will be completely inside and invisible, as I'm not going to use the clear plastic fuselage halves that came with the kit. I may cut out a panel or two later, I dunno yet. Haven't really got a clue what's next, will find out next time I open that beautiful box. Also, dunno yet what to do with the wings, both folded or not, or one folded, one extended. Paintscheme will be the not be the one shown on the box, but one from the 820 Sqdn, Ark Royal 1941.
