  1. 4.11int should indeed be installed over 4.10.1m.... Did 4.10.1m run without errors? Are you sure your started with a clean 4.10.1m? If not, try and put patch 4.10 over it first, then 4.11m If so, try and re-download 4.11int patch, maybe it got corrupted during download? If it still aint workin', you can try and download the MegaPatch, which contains all patches from 4.07m up to 4.10m. Could be a good base to work from...
  2. Bribe 'm... easy
  3. Sure, I can let you know: Colin is not a bit of a joker. Well, maybe he is, but he spoke the truth here, yep, not a joke! As for the other fun stuff; Here's your brief, read it! You'll be needing: Patch 4.11m and install that one ( link to file in vault ) Patch 4.11.1m and install that one (link) Once installed, make sure it's running okay, and then make a backup copy of the game. Next, download and install HSFX 6, which is a large one. For details on howto: see this thread by Fruitbat Once that's done, get patch 6.0.1 (link) And finally: the recently published autoupdater: Link, which will bring it up to 6.0.12 (Unfortunately, the Autoupdater will not install HSFX completely automatically, it will only bring it on the latest patch level. Whether you can skip patch 6.0.1, I'm not sure....) After you've installed them all, run JSGME.exe (it's in the folder where you installed the game) and make sure these modes are active, in this specific order, where HSFX History should be the first one listed: -HSFX History mod -Expert Mode Finally, one MOD you should install: The Flyable G11. (Glider aircraft) We use it every now and then... Link to a thread by Fruitbat Got it? Good Luck! (P.S. I am working on a new release of CheckMods... too bad it's not done yet... Could've been useful for you... Sorry!)
  4. Change catalyst AI setting?
  5. Good fun show Colin!
  6. Happy Birthday Nick!
  7. w00t!
  8. Happy birthday!
  9. Welcome back Olly !!
  10. For scores, just add the command user to the icons.rcu file. Every minute, the scores will then be listed in the console, press shift-tab to check them out. Should you think once a minute is too low a frequency or refresh, then drop the 60000 to 20000 or 10000 for twenty resp. ten seconds refresh.
  11. Me thinks there's no manual on how to do it step-by-step, or a complete one...To do advanced stuff, like mission rotation, you'll be needing extra software like fbdeamon, or IL2ServerCommander. I've been looking for links... some info is available. FbDeamon: http://wiki.sturmovi...?title=FBDaemon (German language!!) FbDeamon server commands IL2SC: http://wiki.sturmovi...English_Version We have (had?) two dedicated servers running.... one for DogFights only, and one with mission rotation. Both are (were?) based on IL21946 with UP3 RC4 mod set. The simple commands should also be available. Here's a long thread on IL2's dedicated server, starting with Crazy Ivans' setup guide. To get it all together, and to understand it all... daunting task... Good Luck, and Have Fun! Oh, one more simple tip in the command prompt of the server, you should be able to get some help on commands by typing 'Help' (or maybe 'help')
  12. You should be able to browse the disk to [drive:]\Documents and Settings\<username>\ but you probably have to use the security tab to assign yourself access rights to those files.
  13. Happy Birthday geezers, both of ya!
  14. Can't confirm/prove it by using manuals / documentation on the laptop, but I still suspect Sata Native mode/ACHI vs. Sata-IDE mode as the cause of this. See here: Sata on Wiki Not sure whether hooking up the usb adapter to a Win7 system will work, there is a chance...
  15. w00t! It's gone! Thanks web(g)host!
  16. What brand/model is that USB adapter? What brand/model is the laptop? What OS was running on it?
  17. Yeah, it takes up so much space!
  18. I like that aircraft hangar gallery thingy to be moved out of sight ...
  19. Could it be the drive was on Sata-native mode in the laptop originally? If your Sata-USB adapter can't handle that... then this could be the result. Later driver for the adaoter? Or will windows need a driver for it?
  20. Ah, the nearly forgotten one ...
  21. Weren't those the ones with a UP3-only map in it?We saw them earlier... I'm sure I've thrown them out already ... ) TS will work better than typing, yes... but right now it's too late me thinks to have a meaningfull session... too close to bedtime...
  22. Well, I immediately fixed all of those... as I do for any error I come across. After a while, I'll indeed re-package, and upload a new version. Thank so much Sweper! Those tests are indeed a daunting task.... Very much appreciate what you are doing there! Please let me know which missions are in error, or send me the corrected ones... Maybe we should take a different approach on this testing: If we do find weird things (like that 5th mission) it might be usefull to check the subfolder where that mission is in, to see whether others in there are also affected....?
  23. Create a folder named MODS. And then... well, you got a folder named 'MODS'. It's as simple as that. Put MODS in there. (Ones that are not selectable via JSGME, like for example if you want to add the G11 as flyable, you would put its files in here...)
  24. Yesterday, I hosted a series of some 5 coops, and all of 'm were having issues. They all were selected from the HSFX coop mission pack. So, the thought was... what is wrong with hissy fit? Well, as it appeared, it was all caused by the host, basically, by his choice of missions. (That Git!) Somehow, I picked 4 missions, all 4 of them had the TestRunway2 in it, on a significant location. TestRunway2 is the ' higher' of the black runways, the one you can drop off of, the one that shows vehicles and objects placed on it rather sunken... ) The fifth mission was simply a completely mis-programmed one. As if someone had programmed part of it on the Crimea map (Take off WP's and landing WP's on an actual airfield in the Crimea), and then used copy/paste to transfer some other part from a different mission on a different map. That's how we got trucks in/on the water, were shot at by invisble AAA (submerged in the Black Sea). So, really, not much wrong there, you can just leave it up to some hosts to manage to select 5 consecutive missions out of 2400+ to get them all with original and true bugs in 'm.... Oh well... better luck next time! PS. I am still working on a corrected/better set of coop missions for HSFX, and have just now replaced the TestRunway2 objects by TestRunway3. (Ship$RwySteel by Ship$RwySteelLow), some 330 missions had the high one in 'm. Finger Crossed!
