  1. Tempted FT? We've seen your bridge - you can do it! Bring on the Fokkers
  2. Agree with the guys above. When it comes to the demands made by flight sims I'd say in all practical terms the performance of that 750 will be very similar to your 460. If I'm reading the website right, an extra fifty squid will get you a 760
  3. Nvidia 750?
  4. Didn't Painless use to work on these when he was in the RAF?
  5. You don't need to do that anymore Hill. Team Fusion sorted this out a while back. Just set your screen for native res and enjoy the eye candy.
  6. http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b04nvgq1 Well worth a listen.
  7. Hello Dave. If you intend to run BoS you'll be needing a quad core in the 3.8ghz plus range and a graphics card in the Nvidia 760 plus range to do it justice.
  8. Yep, it is a bit of a pain. BoS is too but neither are as tedious as DCS. However, one of the good things about having Cliffs run through Steam is once done, the Cloud remembers all those settings. At the time I seem to recall Jim and I were set up by our Swedish talking book Jedipedia.
  9. I think its totally realistic - the one third from the left is having a pee over the bridge!
  10. Yep! We are due an update this week as the dev's have just enjoyed a well-earned Russian holiday weekend and I expect they've been really busy with visits to out-patient clinics considering how many times they've managed to shoot themselves in the foot this last month Since the game is now on general release and I suspect I've flown this thing more than any other Dog, I'll try and write up a review some time soon. In the meantime, little red Yak;
  11. Blood, the odd Kidney or why don't we sell Sweper for medical experiments? Perhaps we could all have a set?

    New Toy Mmm

Went there in August so all my boys could meet their cousins and great uncle - my dad's big bruv' - who lives with his son and family in Perth. He was ninety earlier this year. I hadn't been to Aus. for the best part of fifteen years. My advice; take plenty of money. You'll need it. Oh yeah, don't bother going to Perth unless you have to. In the words of uncle Jerry who craves a visit to his native Yorkshire Riding "It's like arriving at the arse end of the moon!"

Luuurvley . What do you get wiv' the lens kit, Crash?
  14. You have ( said in a tone of awe and wonder ) beige bridges in Holland?
  15. ...................and......breath in!
  16. Have you got BoS? Fed up with grinding through the campaign? No problem; let your pc do it for you whilst you fly some coops with the Dogz and then sit back and enjoy your haul of skins!
  17. Wow! That's a lot of cash you're laying out for these cars. You could have done it cheaper by having a road block and a couple of police cars on the bridge dealing with a 1/64th scale "jumper" leaning over the rail.
  18. It is still working at 97 Crash m8. I appreciate the concern too But at this age when my wife says "take me upstairs and make love to me!" I have to reply "Its one or the other, my dear" Actually, although I am ninety-seven, my birthday is in February.
  19. More de Gaulle mobiles Edit; this really happened in 1962. Though not quite as depicted in the film - ie they mostly shot up a cafe across the road but de Gaulle's DS was found to have nearly twenty bullet holes in it. On arrival de Gaulle got out, brushed broken glass off his suit, made sure his wife was o.k. and got straight on the 'plane to London where he met our Prime Minister Harold Macmillan to tell him he was "un prick!" They don't make 'em like that anymore! Oops. Sorry for the slight derail FT.
  20. Have you got your cars yet or are they in Liepzig? Like the de Gaulle mobile btw
  21. Oh yeah! Quite right FT I remember now - its not easy when you're ninety-seven you know - been a while since I had the urge to fly LW in CoD!
  22. Er....its been so long since I set this stuff up that I might be talking out of my backside but yeah, I think thats normal. I set the British stuff up first so my prop-pitch lever works correctly with the Spitty and Hurricane but accepted the fact that the '109 pitch would then act in reverse. This isn't so much a problem for me as I fly the '109 in auto-pitch during cruise and combat and just keep an eye on the ata gauge. I think the only way to get around it is to reverse control settings as you said but thats a pain so I've got used to it.
  23. You just can't beat the advice of an expert! :salute:BA!
  24. Nice! I still think your as mad as a Badger though
