    Hmmm....mixture of both I suppose. It's all relative. When I was seventeen, after a couple of interviews, a medical and a signature from my dad, HM Queenie gave me a 7.62mm self loading rifle and permission to use it on total strangers.....brave or just plain mad? Also, watch any coverage of this years I.O.M. TT races? I was struck by the similarity.

    You can't do bugger all on this site with IE. I use Chrome to post, copy, paste, etc. The BoS/RoF sites uses this set up too and IE won't work there either.

Your town and the railway bridge must have been on one of the main transport links from Germany into France. I would imagine we tried to bomb the shit outta' that bridge in the spring of '44?

    Wow! Some of the figures are astonishing; look at the number of B24's built. I'm surprised by the number of B29's too although I'm aware the B29 programme cost twice as much as the Manhattan project. Are these figures completely accurate? Over fourteen thousand Hawker Hurricanes and over seven thousand Mosquitos? Is that right?
