I don't think there are any benefits to be gained in re-installing the drivers you already have. However, be prepared to do some settings changes in lots of your games. When I switched from a 460 to a 660ti the first thing I fired up was RoF - expecting unbridled loveliness all round. It was blurghhhh.....and I had to spend an evening tweaking stuff to get the most out of what was obviously a much more capable card.

In the Track Ir control panel you need to click on 'updates' Pooka. I'm using Track Ir 4 with Track Ir 5 software and this button can be found in the top right hand corner. Can't remember where it is in the 4 panel. It needs updating as TrackIr now supports BoS - or something like that....I dunno but hit update and Track Ir should work again.....hopefully.

Could you do a tutorial on how to install and use JSGME with DCS as I have simply no idea - doh! There are three things I find ball aching about DCS and they are how poorly optimised the code is. For the level of graphics it supports modern cpu's and gpu's should breeze through it but can't. The map! Or rather, the map . It's more than ten years old and looks it too. Hopefully, sometime in the not too distant future, both these things will be addressed by this EDGE thing...thingy...er.... Oh yeah, thirdly; the ritual of the "setting of the controls" aaaaaghhhhh. Other than that, its fine and I reserve it for my enjoyment of propellerless flying.

Here you go Bongo; hope this helps sell it for you If you have a system that will run it - which means quad core and fairly recent graphics card - then game looks fantastic and runs very well. Personally, I think it recreates the illusion of flight on a home pc better than anything out there. The problem at the moment is thats about all it's got going for it. If Bongo is willing to sell at a mutually agreeable price then I'd get it and then enjoy it for what it is at the moment, marvel at some of the simply bizarre decisions the devs have taken and then sit it out and wait...................................hopefully
