24" is fine Arthur. Response time is the time taken to switch a pixel from white to black (or vice versa - I forget which) and is only relevant if you can tell the difference between 1/1000th and 5/1000 th of a second (you really can't - to put this in perspective Top Gun pilots have reaction times in the 200-225ms range) and it has no bearing on frame rates given that the vast majority of monitors can't manage more than 60Hz (100Hz in some cases) hence 60 or 100 frames a second in real terms. If your graphics card can get to those levels go for a 100Hz monitor otherwise go fo a 60Hz - you won't see any difference in use and it'll make a much cheaper purchase. Hope this helps.

Guys, I have 150(ish) back issues of FlyPast magazine stretching back over the last 10 years or so. I no longer have anywhere to store them and so they are earmarked for recycling in the next few weeks unless I can find a new home for them. So I've just re-installed following the instructions in the guide Gec linked in post #21 to move my users folder from my SSD (boot and OS drive) to one of the HDDs and it's worked like a charm - Very straight-forward and no issues found so far.

Yeah, looks about right Chris. Make sure you have your mobo driver CD handy, cos you'll need to get hooked up to the internet reasonably quickly for all the updates. Although I didn't need to do that in my case, 10 had native driver support for my mobo NIC - might be the same for you.

Hell yeah.And that's why we don't allow the kiddies in here. Assuming they would even want to play something that takes a degree of skill and practice to even get to the point of having one's ass handed to you that is. Not a huge amount in the way of instant gratification in simming.

A word of warning on using sysprep to move the user data files - If you do it and get it wrong their tech support people will not assist you to put it right (basically because you've used sysprep to do something that you're not supposed to do) - That said I used sysprep to do this many times on my 7 install and it worked flawlessly.

I really like 10 too, it has a bunch of features I really like especially around phone support, music and photos. <br /><br />I only have the OS on the SSD. All games, photos, docs etc sit on a separate HDD. 10 has a feature that can help manage that too!<br /><br />It did cause problems with controllers for me but only cos it does thing differently to 7. Once I (with help from FT and others) figured out how to make it do what I wanted it's fine. Well, there's also the fact the bar is all green currently, and it's titled '2015' ... so that will not really 'motivate' people to donate, would it?
