  1. Wow, that looks sweet indeed. And I'm glad it's back to the Atlantic theatre.
  2. ... and the pilot sat on the grass next to his chute, smoking a cig, like nothing special happened.
  3. I love the A-10 too! And I love the way the big-wigs try to get it moth-balled, but the people who fly and know it, say it still can get the job done. Awesome aircraft.
  4. Yeah windows built-in remote Desktop is the easiest option in my mind. Nothing to install, just enable it on the remote PCs system settings.
  5. Snacko! You're brain is unique, you should get scientists to study it. It's on another plain to the rest of us.
  6. Damn Tonar! I thought I was maybe the squad's designated slacker!
  7. Good lord that Corsair one seems more complicated than DCS:Black Shark. Do you really need to know Morse Code and those bearing codes!?!?
  8. Great vid!
  9. What's the big barrel thing at the back, ammo container or motor for gun? Or is it part of the gun?
  10. WOW #16! I'm sure it will/should have complete TIR capability built in Bojan. I'm wondering the way your head wallows around a bit when he turns/banks the aircraft is hard-coded in and can't be switched off?
  11. It is, but it ain't JP-proof. Nice getting new 'horse-power' innit?
  12. Or it could be any part of Great Britain with the recent weather.... "Our First Winter" DEC 20th It's starting to snow. The first of the season and the first we've seen for years. The wife and I took out our hot toddies and sat on the porch watching the fluffy soft flakes drift gently down clinging to the trees and covering the ground. It's so beautiful and peaceful. DEC 24th We awoke to a lovely blanket of crystal white glistening snow covering as far as the eye could see. What a fantastic sight, every tree and bush covered with a beautiful white mantle. I shovelled snow for the first time ever and loved it. I did both our driveway and the pavement. Later that day a snowplough came along and accidentally covered up our driveway with compacted snow from the street. The driver smiled and waved. I waved back and shovelled it away again. The children next door built a snowman with coal for eyes and a carrot for a nose, and had a snowball fight, a couple just missed me and hit the car so I threw a couple back and joined in their fun. DEC 26th It snowed an additional 5 inches last night and the temperature dropped to around minus 8 degrees. Several branches on our trees and bushes snapped due to the weight of the snow. I shovelled the driveway again. Shortly afterwards the snowplough came by and did his trick again. Much of the snow is now a brownish - grey. JAN 1st Warmed up enough during the day to create some slush which soon became ice when the temperature dropped again. Bought snow tyres for both our cars. Fell on my arse in the driveway. Went to a physio but nothing was broken. JAN 5th Still cold. Sold the wife's car and bought her a 4x4 to get her to work. She slid into a wall and did considerable damage to the right wing. Had another 8 inches of white shite last night. Both vehicles are covered in salt and iced up slush That bastard snowplough came by twice today. Where's that bloody shovel. JAN 9th More fooking snow. Not a tree or bush on our property that hasn't been damaged. Power was off most of the night. Tried to keep from freezing to death with candles and a paraffin heater which tipped over and nearly torched the house. I managed to put the flames out but suffered 2nd degree burns on my hands. Lost all my eyebrows and eyelashes. Car hit a fooking deer on the way to casualty and car was written off. JAN 13th Fooking bastard white shite just keeps on coming down. Have to put on every article of clothing just to go to the post box. The little c*nts next door ambushed me with snowballs on the way back - I'll shove that carrot so far up the little bastard's arse it'll take a good surgeon hours to find it. If I ever catch the c*nt that drives the snowplough I'll chew open his chest and rip out his heart with my teeth. I think the bastard hides around the corner and waits for me to finish shovelling and then he accelerates down the street like Michael Schufookingmacher and buries the fooking driveway again. JAN 17th Sixteen more fooking inches of fooking snow and fooking ice and fooking sleet and god knows what other white shite fell last night. I am in court in 3 months time for assaulting the snowplough driver with an ice-pick. Can' t move my fooking toes. Haven't seen the sun for 5 weeks. Minus 20 and more fooking snow forecast. JAN 18th FOOK THIS, I'M MOVING BACK TO ENGLAND
  13. Good one jedi, you... 20 year old boffin!
  14. @ Friar - Loads of people will come up with their own expert take on the story/plot. But just go in there without any prejudice and an open mind and just be blown away by the film. Do try and see it 3D and on the biggest screen you can.
  15. @ Painless - I too like all those pixels that make up the sexy Neytiri. Sexiest alien EVER, after Leela. I can't believe all the crap they were coming out with before this film was released. Like they REALLY wanted it to fail. Saying stuff like the usual 'most expensive film ever made', executives worried it wouldn't recoup, early audiences being made ill by the 3D (probably the type of person that's get sick turning a corner in a car?), James Cameron's ego etc. But sheesh, after all the films he's made, I think he deserves a huge amount of slack. And I'm extremely happy it's going to pass Titanic. I'm also surprised that the Brits aren't the usual bad-guys in a big Hollywood flick. THAT makes a change! Only 3 more hours left till viewing #5.
  16. I find they're great in A-A dog-fighting, but when you need that little bit of rudder turn on A-G strafing, it's not so easy as a twist stick.
  17. I'm surprised there's not already been a thread on this great movie. I'm off to see it for the 5th week in a row tomorrow, after work. I plan to see it every week until it's taken off the big screen. A really beautiful movie in my opinion. What do others think? GK
  18. Some hate him, some love him. I'm with the latter, I think he's very funny. And the Hollywood in-crowd are definitely not above having the piss taken out of them.
  19. So you're telling me that some WOW! I need to meet these people and sell them some glass hammers, tartan paint & left-handed screwdrivers at $99/£99/€99 each.
  20. Good job we've got your vast years of experience BG... to point out the bloody obvious!
  21. A great story indeed... now wait for Rattler to come along and de-bunk it as nonsense.
  22. I liked his 'hand-brake turn' at the end.
  23. My bad! Nice model and a GREAT shirt.
