  1. Well all i know is that I had an adrenalin (did i spell that right?) pumping experience in just that thrown up dogfight map. First time I got to fly wiht the K9s as a unit against an unknown enemy. Man, it was so blasted real from so many aspects. I was laughing as I got blown outta the air.....sometimes.....for a little while. I shoulda taped more of it, but got too carried away. Toward the end, I finally got an edge on a Ki-84, and was scoring a few 20mm hits. I wound up verticle and was about to deliver the coup de grace, when the thing ended. I just wanna know how they all timed disapearing at once....that was quite a move. And it was lucky for the guy I was about to hose. I yelled pretty loud expletives, then started laughing, then realized that my corsair was smoking yet again and the throttle was stuck. War is all hell.
  2. Cool. Due to my own distracted stupidity, I missed out on sat flying on the new version. Damn.
  3. Well I tried to find it, but it appears to be gone....I think. This is a real BUG. And i was bit busy getting it installed and testing it to make a track. I dont do tracks anymore anyway, i just do the nighttrack (or whatever it is called), and i didnt think of doing so beforehand.
  4. But as was too common that day, he is blown apart by an unseen attacker....these guys just don't play fair.........WAAAHH. The 352cd Do pilot was undoubtedly relieved, as he turns his wounded bird toward his base. He's probably thinking "next time I'll keep my F#cking energy up". Some of our guys were giving as good as we were getting. Jensenpark, Shadow, and Von Tonar seemed to be doing rather well at times. The attrition rate on both sides was pretty heavy, but the war didnt last long enough for our superior numbers to have an effect. Here Jensenpark is down to his 303s but continues to riddle a Ki-84 (which our enemy seemed to prefer.....not as delicate as a Zeke). We kept running outta ammo it seemed. Too many times a Frank would take alot of fire and keep on going, as in this case. These guys reminded me of Cylons on Battlestar Galactica....come to think of it, this whole deal is strangely similiar; everytime we get killed, we get downloaded to a new plane. I got downloaded ALOT. In case you were wondering where the wing leadership was, he was attacking enemy position, which were coincidentally on some realestate suitable for digging big-ass holes with indentured servants. Unfortunately, the ever present Ki-84s (with really big guns) were in no mood to exchange land for Canadian beer. Having lost his tail feathers, BG feels that his narrow escape from destruction justifies some imbibing; he doesn't let danger discouage his indulgence in adult beverages (and apparently, the rest of his sqdrn doesnt either ). Note that he has lost part of his arse to 30mm fire. But danger is his business (well, that and importing slave labor and scarfing up all the poor folks landholdings).....and he's about to get plenty of danger from a really riled up attacker. Damn those lousy 30mm guns! Of course, it woulda helped if he hadnt mounted up in a flying cigarette lighter. But then again, with those 30mm milk bottles flying at ya.... This was a common theme.........into the valley of death rode the.....um.....15 or so. Again, our antagonists worked well in elements. Plus, they just didnt like anyone from Canada. Guess they didnt like some of us digging holes in thier land....with bombs. But since we didnt get the chance to do such that much...... I kinda think we oughta consider assigning somebody to CAP over our base next time. I got blasted at least 4 times while i was taking off. Once i got it on my takeoff run and was hauling A across the ground, and right into the trees off the end of the runway. I also made the best forced landing ever at the end with a damaged engine running at full throttle. I positioned myself on approach and killed the engine, dead stick. Pity nobody hardly saw it. But at any rate, we gotta get our crap together and organize a bit more beforehand.....I think. Of course, I do realize that no battle plan survives the opening moments of contact, but, like Kyle and Stan in Southpark, I learned something today. God if you only knew how long it took to do this thing here......Im done now.
  5. Sorry it took so damn long to post this, but 'improvements' to PSE made doing this consume 4 times as much time........plus i been kinda busy. I hope the site doesnt gag on me like it does so often, but if it does, I'll finish later. If anyone is misidentified, or if any of the 352cd guys can id some of their own, feel free to correct me. Anyhoot, the SEOW attempt last sun wasnt a total loss.....well, tactically it may have been, but............ Anyway, There we were, the 15 or so noble pilots of the K-9 wing, vs about a dozen evil minions of the 352cd purveyors of evil (grrrr). Now, one would assume that given the numerical advantage (or at least the illusion of one), that the dogz (and a smidgeon of hounds du hell) would have made relatively quick work of these interlopers.............but nooooooooooooooooo. Speaking for myself, I got my ass handed to me repeatedly. I think (ahem) that those guys were rather.........um,well organized. My role in this epic adventure began as enemy He-111s made torp runs on our capitol ships. One of these guys is really intrepid, not even letting the threat of a super fighter like the Brewster F-ing Buffalo intimidate him.
  6. Now BG, stop beating around the bush....tell us what you REALLY think. I swear, guys like you and quaz and just so......shy.........and reserved.
  7. How hte blazes you go about reporting such any more? I saw the La-7 spinning, and burning, on its spinner like a top, never stopping or crashing. just spinning on the ground. sort of like the rufe bouncing on the water eternally.
  8. I kept getting my ass handed to me on sunday on that df map, but i gotta say, that was one of the best times ive had online. A massive battle.........got it was glorious. I am impressed by how organized our opponents seemed to be ( they mighta just got lucky heh heh), and i think we need to trly and improve our own interface with each other. God it was great. I intend on posting some screenies from part of it, but improvements (sic) to photoshop elements have made it much more difficult to do. I have them finished, just gotta post em. E
  9. I now, thanks to intimidation, threats, and mild violence, have achieved 46 with switches to the prior two versions. Dont have the patch yet, as it was enough of a worry to get this going. Whew. Thank the dieties that Quaz is around to help.
  10. I dunno how this would affect things, but my experience with the FMB is htat the the sim runs better with a smaller number of types of units, and that the fmb can make almost unlimited numbers of objects if there are just fewer types. Of course I dunno how much that rule applies to moving objects.
  11. The fight afterwards was some of hte best fun Ive had since I started flying wiht the Hounds about a yr or so ago. I mean, that was great. A sky full of fuckers trying to kill my ass........and doing a fair to midland job of it. I mean, I kept getting my ass handed to me (especially by some guy name Rooster....'I say look at me when Im talkin to ya boy'......... I kept getting shot to shit in my Corsair with my blue honduran paint job, got straffed three times on take off. Was doing ok once when my engine got shot out and froze just as I lifted off, so I set it back down rather well, but couldnt stop and went into the trees. At the end, I FINALLY was getting revenge, scoring some 20mm hits on a Ki-84 (i think), and we went vertical with me lining him up, when they all seemed to leave simultaneously.........I mean, the Damn Thunderbirds couldnt do any more precise timing than that. Just as I fired............he disapeared........AAAAHHHHHRRRGGGGHHH !!! So then I tried to land my shot up corsair.........and for the first time I discovered that my throttle was stuck on max and was overheating. Somehow I managed to time it right and killed my engine on approach and set her down dead stick, waiting till the last moment to drop traou, I mean gear. I actually managed to land quite well that way. Its only when the engine is running and theres no damage that I crack up...........or forget to lower my gear.
  12. Heh heh. Yeah, that was a bit of a violent (but fun) evening.
  13. AAARRRGHH!!
  14. You may continue to use said photo, as the model involved (Jenifer) has a good sense of humor (and is outrageously uninhibited) and she wont mind a bit. Feel free to use any of my photos in your promotion of the order. I can tell you from.....um, 'experience', that she would make a great addition to the order. I havent had the op to photograph any sheep............why do I keep thinking of Gene Wilder in the movie "Everything you ever wanted to know about sex but were afraid to ask".
  15. Yeah, pretty good. The roids thing is right on target.....Last time I had to draw weapon on somebody, it was one of those crazy asses that took that shit. I pointed out that all the excess muscle tissue would make those 9mm 115 Jacketed hollow points expand very well...............in my youth of course (I went to 10mm later in life).
  16. They upped the photo limit from 20 to 300 (!?!?), so I now have 74 at the site itself in my slide show in the upper right. The other slide show is from another site, so its not affected. The new ones are mostly recent, some of which I posted some examples of on here a few weeks back. most are pretty tame, but theres a couple of slinky ones. I just talked ot one of them, and the two blonde sisters wanna do some slinky evening dress (can you say CLEAVAGE) shots.....soon..........i hope. Just thought the few of you who like chicks might be interested. http://www.myspace.com/colonialphotog I hope the blasted link thingy works. If not, just type it in.
  17. F-ing incredible! my late dad did RC from the early 50s till just a couple of yrs before he died in June. Ive still got a ton of RC kits, engines, and stuff Im trying to sell. You wouldnt believe all the kits , many of them vintage 60s stuff, many very well built planes, many incomplete planes (he was a true craftsman but had a bad habbit of starting projects w/o finishing earlier ones), radio transmitters, and tons of stuff I dont even recognize. He's got an astro hog plane that he built in 66, and a couple of copters he never finished. He's got several gliders and glider kits, and used a bunjee cord catapult to launch them sometiems, and some had small engines. I used to help him launch and recover them when I was much younger. Where is that range of mtns? And I love that P-38. Is one of those shots from a cam mounted on the glider?
  18. Well damn damn damn I say. Damn.
  19. Or is it whom do I kill. That damn joint is outta 46, and I cant find it anywhere that Ive heard of. Sometimes I wonder if Ubi is stupid, or Oleg just doesn't like Americans. Seeing all this talk on this thing reminds me of being a kid and hearing everyone talk about doing the wild thing .........and I couldnt find any. Kinda drove me nuts a while. I hope I have better luck finding this GD dvd.
  20. Where else do u get both the best and most hideous of mankind? Great shots, but I had to click on some of those 20 times to get them fullsize. Saw some stuff I couldnt ID, like a 3 barrel 20mm AA mount with brit troops on it. Also saw a great shot of a soviet late model Sherman 76mm on a mtn top with a T-34/85. These were all in the color section. I also saw a Soviet M-3 Lee burned out....I didnt even know we sent them any of those things. I just wish it was easier to gget the full size versions.
  21. I have GOT to get me one of those damn new disks.
  22. Now thats rich.......heh heh.
  23. Heh heh. The BoB shoulda been enough to settle anything.....holding the line by themselves (practically) while pacifists protested the lend lease act in Washington. Well I just had to say that....... I remember when President Nixon went to the Soviet Union decades ago and forgave them thier 11 billion buck war debt. OK with me, but They weren't even trying to pay the thing back. The idea of being paid back kinda went out with Pearl Harbor I think. England became part of the war effort, and any resources we gave England (and all the allies actually) was a direct part of OUR own war effort. But if any of youse Brit guys feel you owe us anything, feel free to buy 1946 and send it to me. I promise to write off the cost of an entire squadron of P-40Es.
  24. To quote a great Southpark character.......(in a an exagerated high pitch voice)....'Howdeeee Ho'.
  25. I was gonna ask 'where are the chicks?', but since I still havent posted the ones I promised YET of a recent......'client'......I cant complain.
