Impressive! I'm glad I don't have a job where I can cause millions of dollars of damage (actually, come to think of it, I do!)
It was in final pre-delivery check so I'm guessing the pilot was an Airbus employee... total write-off- whoops!
Very nice... I think you did an excellent job with the mottled paint on the sides of the fuselage.
Which kit was it? I can't wait until my son is old enough that he (and maybe his pop) can enjoy making these
Seems like AMD is still playing catch-up...
Hardly any software has been written to take advantage of dual core, let alone quad-core CPUs- I don't quite get the hype?!? I haven't really kept on top of the tech side of things in the last couple of years...
At least by the time I get around to building a new rig in a year it will be that much cheaper
Granted, but it's been moved into a trailer park and the neighbours' pitbulls piss all over your self-repairing paint everyday.
I wish for world peace.
I don't get worried until a parent with a one-year old and a three year-old sits next to me on a trans-atlantic flight... at that point seeing the cowling ripping off the engine would probably be a relief :-D
Actually... I'm rapidly heading to being that parent! Quake at my appearance fellow-passenger-victms!
About ten years ago I saw a nice long trail of black fluid (I'm guessing it was oil) streaking back from one of the engine nacelles, fortunately there was about ten minutes to landing and nothing happened but those were some pretty long minutes.
Ohhhh, thankee thankee mates.
33 years of age in 24 hours... I've been so busy of late it's kind of crept up on me!
I hope to catch you in the virtual skies soon,
Angus
I don't see why you got all excited.
They merely opened the engine cowling in flight to show you how well everything was working and thereby reassure you that there was nothing to worry about.
