crashs advice is fine - in more detail- 1) download the latest drivers from the creative site http://uk.europe.creative.com/support/downloads/ on first page select your card on second page where it says "file type" just select driver and store somewhere like desktop 2)go to start-settings-control panel-system-hardware-device manager-left click + at sound,video and game controllers right click on your card and select uninstall 3)switch off the computer as normal

sorry didnt know you had one mate and thought you were putting one in to replace the on board. but my advice stands- when you swop out cards XP assigns IRQs for them. if you dont put the soundcard in the bottom slot , then it can share IRQs with video card or mouse and then you get problems. your new soundcard will only make a difference if it is the zx type (or if it is newer, those that have their own processor) - ordinery basic soundblasters wont make any difference. also I would only install the drivers and not the full software suite that comes with these as they are a very messy install and use up resources. hope this helps

when you fit the soundcard - put it in the bottom slot - if the bottom slot is taken, take that card out , put the soundcard in the bottom slot and put the other card in another slot . This will help with IRQ assignments mate and cause least problems. S delta

also felt we lost a little of the co-ordination of the co-ops, where we at least start off together. When we did get orginised we done really well and cleared a sector and covered each other well.

Bill Bailey , the author of ALone I FLy, has passed away. I have just received a letter from his son in law which I have copied Dave it is with great sadness that I have to tell you that Bill passed away on July 23rd. He had been ill for a long time and his conditioned worsened. He was in hospital but comfortable for 10 days before giving up the fight. We are very fortunate that we have his book as a lasting legacy and of course we will continue with sales. Please where possible continue to support it. a good idea is to look at skin s for it for the g6 in il2 at airwarfare or cannonuks site and then you can take a screenshot and use this

just ordered my eduard FW 190A6 MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM got rave reviews so looking forward to this- Ill need to get my paint technique down tho as it is still a bit rough compaired to spray gun but improved ove rfirst effort - Im thinning the paint down well. I actually like brush painting so cant see me getting a spray gun - they are very expensive as well . maybe santa will come to the rescue tho

thanks painless here it is finished - I might emphasise the lines more and add exhaust smoke but I baisically wanted it clean - I read he hardly flew it anyway. I left off the black tulip leaves from the nose as I believe they were ordered not to use them as it made it easy for the russians to id him and there was a bounty on his head the 2 I have finished on top of my bookcase- the Meis tiny even compaired to spit

the key is not to force the processor into the motherboard or bend the pins or your goosed - I believe a firm but gentle

this is a good idea but the only problem is I dont think you will shoot down any planes with invincibility on - IMHO its better trying something like the tig where the target puts his smoke on and 2 or 3 attack him

you are not alone mate -

PHEW - its been saved - used toothpaste to remove glue from canopy then klear floor polish to shine it up and looks fine now http://www.ipmsstockholm.org/magazine/2 ... nopies.htm klear also makes a good varnish to protect the model and so Iv coated it with this and started the decals- they take very nicely on top of this finish the cockpit that fell of fhas been trimmed and fitted with the help of bluetac - this took around 3 hours of work to get it to sit right im working on the decals now and then some weathering - Im going to use a spounge and silver paint for this - Iv seen pictures of this and it works nice, Ill emphasise the panel lines with pencil and then put the final varnish on and that should be it.- probably take around 2 weeks due to work etc
