yes mate -you already have the key assignments in control section of game so you then use the SST to map a keyboard press to a joystick button/hat/switch - the x-45 map in my previous post shows the modes/key assigments/joystick button so is a useful template. note that some of my key assignments are not default so check them against what you have in game. the joystick and roteries and rudder are set up in the hotas section of the game

On PC I liked the fps games, favourites were Operation Flashpoint, UT2004 and call of duty seriese. I have lost many days in civ2 and Im a big fan of the tombraider games. On console any mario games are fantastically well done for nintendo while Pro Evolution Soccer, Colin Mcrae rally and Grand Theft Auto on Ps2 were well done. nowadays its just il2 with some tombraiding thrown in and some DS, especially mario cart, when on the move.

It was the eduard 1/48th kit but I really would urge caution with this one mate - its a nice kit but tricky - the guides for the major fits are not good so you have to assemble and fit and check against further assembly , then check again before fixing - it can be frustrating - in the end I couldnt close the upper gun cover due to a slight misalignment at a early stage - there is also a very tricky fit for the wings - one small piece that effects several others and the overall fit of wings to fuselague - much gnashing of teeth there and if Id any hair left it would have been pulled out. the mottle was done with a sponge dry brushed and dabbed on

thats kinda how I read it- I have used pp only on radials- fw190 and p-47 - and usually only go down to 70%. I lack the skill to balance pp,

thanks guys - I decided to just bite the bullet and install myself- it all went quickly and easily- I used microsoft files and settings wizard to transfer my main settings across and then I installed the old hard drive into my new computer- all I then had to do with most was install any programs

I have a 1/48th hasegawa p-51D on order mate - it should arrive today but real life is kinda busy so it might be a while -

the raised part is the cowl to rearm the guns - here is photo of the real thing it is held by 6 clasps ( 3 each side) the engine cowls open up to the side

just finished will post more in natural light tomorrow
