Very moving , thanks for posting
I think its a hurricane as well
One point is that the german panzer crews also wore the death head as part of their uniform , many removed it to avoid comparison with the SS
I think I'm getting a tree
LOL
thats tree-mendous news
did you pine for another to add to your shrubbery
fir its a nice way to celibrate
Ill log on to see how you get on
Oak-ay Id better leave now while Im ahead
thanks for the kind words guys, in truth it didnt turn out just as good as I wanted but Im pleased with how it finished up and that I kept with it - it was nearly in the bin a few times.
Santa is bringing me a spitfire MK1 and a hurricane MK1 as Iv been a good boy and I hope I can do these justice- Ill try to get my seams and spray painting better and Iv learnt a bit about patience and leaving things aside for a while if I get problems as rushing into these type of things just leads to more frustration.

My latest project
this relatively easy revell 1/72 should have been a relaxing build but I had to fight it all the way .
1) one set of the windows fell in when I was masking for spraying so I had to split the fuselague , putty and sand again
2) the cockpit windows cracked so I had to get a replacement
3) the decals were special order and very delicate so I had to patch a couple
4) the wheels struts were white metal which refused to glue right untill I fought with them
5) I tried to rescribe some panels and the tape lifted some paint so I had to touch that up
but I like how it turned out
the big hitters are
LES MISERABLES
and
CHICAGO

If you want something different then shakespeares globe theatre was reburbished a few years ago and does shows
http://www.shakespeares-globe.org/
but check run times to make sure they are still on when you plan to visit
yeah - I wouldnt do US as the shipping and tax would be expensive , but is there not a spanish/portuguese version of e-bay ? there is a uk one
perhaps your best bet would be to get a pc magazine that does good reviews and see what they recommend
S
definatly go for a pc over a mac.
a key factor in your choice is down to what you are comfortable with on after sales
1) local shop - may be more expensive initially but should be easy to deal with should problems occur
2) mail order - lots of companies offer mail order from the big companies like dell to more specialist companies. Get a copy of a PC magazine and compaire what each are offering for your price list.
trackIR is simply the best thing you can get for the game.
I have TIR4 with clip but TIR3 was good enough
I only got the upgrade because I got it through mission4today - my reviews are here if you wish to read more

http://www.wonderlandmodels.com/models/plastic-models/paints-glues/airbrushes/revell/
this cost around £100 together
Im not very skilled with it but it seems a good place to start

latest is a DC-3
automotive rattle can used
it needs polished then futured and should look good
I would like to try alcan but the prep work is hard , everything must be perfect and my seams arnt that great so until I get the filling and sanding down pat then Ill stick to this
