GreyKnight Posted October 13, 2009 Posted October 13, 2009 1 millions frames per second!? Good lord! I never knew they could get cameras that fast. WOW! Quote
JensenPark Posted October 13, 2009 Posted October 13, 2009 love the ones of the bullets hitting glass Quote
Jediteo Posted October 13, 2009 Posted October 13, 2009 1 million FPS is just improbable. The video is in 24fps, and just how long does it take for the bullet to go through? Quote
BadAim Posted October 13, 2009 Posted October 13, 2009 Very cool stuff. I love shooting steel, the bullet splash looks like a little silver cloud from a distance. Quote
GreyKnight Posted October 13, 2009 Posted October 13, 2009 Whoah! I just saw more of it, and that bit where they fire pellets(?) at a bullet inflight, and it doesn't even alter the bullet's path one bit!? I love physics! p.s. 7min 30sec is cool, like a banana. And the buckshot at the end, way cool. Quote
JensenPark Posted October 13, 2009 Posted October 13, 2009 if this was IL2, the .303 and .50's would bounce off the paper... Quote
Strider Posted October 13, 2009 Posted October 13, 2009 Thanks, Gec! Very cool, m8, and way beyond what I expected. JP---> Quote
Enforcer57 Posted October 15, 2009 Posted October 15, 2009 Amazing. I spent about 20 yrs hand-loading ammo of many types and bullet designs, and ballistics was always a fascination with me, especially in military applications. Notice the slanted metal's better resistance to the slugs? And what was the deal with those rd slugs hitting the bullets in flight? I've never seen anything like that. This thing needed some more info with it, but it was amazing. The shotgun loads at the end was wild. Never seen film of that before. Thanx for posting this. Quote
