Yesterday I..... 1. Created a new folder c:\program files\ubisoft\4.9m (my current game lives in c:\program files\ubisoft\il2 sturmovii 1946 2. Installed from the 1946 dvd into c:\program files\ubisoft\4.9m 3. Downloaded and installed patch 408m.46 in the same folder 4. Downloaded and installed patch 409m in the same folder 5. Tried running was was still being asked to insert disc.. game runs up in about 15 seconds and i dont get the new splash screen Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Looks to me you are doing the right things in the correct order... The fact it still asks for the disk is normal, as you installed from the DVD with Securom on it. Blairgowrie Posted October 3, 2009 Share Posted October 3, 2009 It sees that you already have it installed. Just change the name from Il2 Sturmovik 1946 in your UBIsoft folder to something like Il2 and you should be able to run the install. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
