Klinger Posted August 6, 2008 Share Posted August 6, 2008 I reckon Spit pilots are in for a slightly different experience with the Mk 14. From the accounts I've read, it handled more like a P51 with a better rate of climb. The prop also spins the other way, so the swing on take off is different. Enforcer57 Posted August 8, 2008 Share Posted August 8, 2008 Somebody already made a bubble canopy merlin spit, from what Ive seen (wip i think), so I expect theree will be both vrsions. There were a bunch of griffon engine spits though, and don't even get me started about the Seafires........like the mk47 with contra rotating props. Ill shut up now.
